I have tried many times to get a response from Askupa Software for an issue I have with the pro version of Twitter Feed. Has anyone ever found a way to get them to respond? I have tried both the contact form in the plug-ins admin page and their website contact form. I never get a response. Any ideas?
]]>I have created custom cron URL and I include “require_once( $root . ‘/wp-load.php’ );” file. but I am fasing fatel error.
I have created a test.php file and move to the theme folder. like.
example.com/wp-content/themes/theme-name/test.php
And I run above test.php file then I am showing fatel error.
Please check this screenshot: https://goo.gl/TN71TG
Once I disable this plugin then I run test.php and it’s working fine.
but if I activate this plugin and run a test.php file and I am getting a fatal error.
How? Can’t find it in the settings. Do I need to change some code in a file? Cheers!

]]>I just installed the plugin, created the app on twitter and put in all the keys etc.
Now when I try the shortcode: [statictweets skin=”” resource=”” user=”” list=”” query=”” id=”” count=”” ajax=”” retweets=”” replies=”” show=””/]
It always gives me the error message that resource type is invalid, i’ve tried hometimeline and list… none work. How do I get this plugin to work properly?

]]>Hello,
I just wanted to flag that I think in 3.0 that the avatar_size was introduced to the settings. I found in my logs for a while the following;
Notice: Undefined index: avatar_size in …plugins/wd-twitter-feed/includes/Tweets/UI/Tweet/controller.php on line 28
Which refers to this code;
$this->avatar_size = $twitterfeed_settings['avatar_size'];
When I disabled WP-Debug these messages started appearing in the feed itself;
To resolve I found going to the settings and saving the tab showing the avatar size field resolved the issue.
So it might be good to do a check in $twitterfeed_settings that array key exists and isn’t empty, and when it fails to set to a default value rather than error out as it does now.
Seems to only affect you if you upgraded from a version prior to 3.0
All the best,
Cheers
Hello-
I have added the Twitter Feed plugin to a clients website (to replace their old twitter feed plugin) so that they can display images in their feed, however I cannot get the images to show using the shortcode and settings below.
I am using the free version 3.0.5 with the following shortcode: [statictweets skin=”default” resource=”usertimeline” user=”@nonprofitworks” count=”3″ retweets=”on” show=”username, screenname, avatar, time, media” /].
Settings: Force Tweet Count = 3 and is enabled. Caching enabled and Caching Frequency = 25. URL Shortening = Short and Expand Tweet Media is set to on.
I have the Twitter Feed on a test page.
Any thoughts? I have seen a couple other topics similar to mine but there is no solution to those topics.
Thanks in advance!
]]>Hello,
After updating to the latest version of the plugin I get the following message:
“Error: You did not provide the required Twitter tokens”
Every time I re-input the tokens, the widget works for a few hours and then it breaks once again. I have also revoked and recreated the token just in case, but the same thing happened.
When the issue occurs, on the backend the tokens just get erased like their were never used.
I am using your plugin on various websites and this is the only one that this suddenly happened after updating to the latest version of your plugin.
Is there any solution to this?
You can see this page;
public_html/wp-content/plugins/wd-twitter-feed/includes/Tweets/UI/Tweet/ controller.php
on the line 52;
return human_time_diff( $date->getTimestamp(), current_time('timestamp',1) ).' ago';
i change every update of this pluging.
“ago” ? “?nce” (for Turkish)

Plugin version 3.0.3
All our websites using your plugin have now broke. It says:
Error: You did not provide the required Twitter tokens
This is soooo unprofessional and very embarrassing. Very annoyed customers.
Your changelog does not even mention this change:
https://products.askupasoftware.com/twitter-feed/changelog/
Can you please make a statement here why this change was introduced with no warning or fallback using the old system that gives us a chance to update without breaking websites?

Curious if others running this plugin on Godaddy’s managed wordpress hosting solution might have had a similar problem with this plugin.
The plugin has its own caching system. Godaddy has their own built into their hosting as well.
Sometimes the Godaddy hosting caching setup does not play nice.
I simply got an error 89, (token code problem).
The token codes were correct, copy/pasted them direct and triple checked it.
removed the plugin from my client’s site and moving on. ??
Good luck

I have been asked to put the link to the Twitter feed on the username / nice name when it is displayed on the feed. Is this something that can be done? I couldn’t see any easy way to achieve this within the plugin.

]]>Loving this plugin. Very simple to use, and the options are nice.
Is there a setting somewhere that will allow media to show automatically?
I’d like to show images straight away, and not wait for a website visitor to click on the ‘show media’ link.
Thanks.
