Hi!
Is this plugin compatible with Rental Products? I need to set serial number for every product I rent.
The issue is when a product is rented out it is out of the available pool of rentable products. As in when i rent product with serial number “A” between monday and wednesday and try to rent it on thuesday for thursday it’s not available for rental. I can only rent it out again after the previous rental period has ended.
Hi
Wordfence security plugin marks your plugin with a following message: The Plugin “WC Serial Numbers” has a security vulnerability. Will this be fixed soon?
]]>Will it be possible to use your plugin (WC Serial Numbers) to sell “redeem codes” for 3rd party SaaS applications?
Here is the scenario: The visitor logs in to my woo store, and he purchases a “redeem code” for a 3rd party SAAS app (let’s call it XYZ app).
Once the visitor completes the purchase process on my woo store, he will receive an email with the redemption code.
Then he visits the webpage of that SAAS app (XYZ.com) where he can enter the redeem code he bought from my store, and after he sends the redeem code on their website, he will get from them the credentials for XYZ app, so he can log in to their app and use it.
Is that possible with your plugin?
How do I sync my woo store with many different 3rd party apps, so that they will recognize and respect the redeem codes that the visitors will buy on my woo store?

Is it possible to sync the keys together? Lets say “domain 1” are empty in stock, but “domain 2” av 1000 in stock – is there someway “domain 1” can get keys from “domain 2”?
]]>Hello,
plugin was installed, serial number was added and assigned to product. When order placed, all order emails received, but nothing with Serial number… Didn’t find any email configuration settings… So please advise…
Order was automatically Completed and Code status is Sold.
Your work and help is highly appreciated.
]]>The problem is that after payment the order status is set to “processing”, although the order status should be “completed” and the client should see the product key after payment, but this does not happen.
Enabling the checkbox “Automatically completes orders after successful payments.” does not give any results
I already wrote about this problem, but the problem was never solved. At the moment I am using plugin version 1.4.5, since all newer versions do not work correctly. Although I think this is strange, considering that the idea of ??creating such a plugin is brilliant.
]]>Hi,
I want to use your pro plugin, but I would need this serial number that you send to put in a PDF or in a much nicer email, so that it can be given as a gift.
Is this possible? Is there a shortcode that can be used with a different template plugin?
]]>Hello Brains Trust
Is it possible to transfer serial numbers to other users or a way around this?
We have a physical product that will be printed with a code which can activate a digital component only one activation at a time. The idea is that the physical product can be passed on to another user.
The idea is that the code is revoked from another user and transfred to a new one.
]]>Hi everyone!
Perhaps a strange question, but can’t find the answers on this forum. Who can point me in the right direction?
I need the following: when a product is sold in WooCommerce, a serial code will be generated in the plugin WC Serial Numbers (a digital gift card). When the transaction is completed, I want a part of that data (the serial code and some static info) also inserted in another table in WordPress (a booking plugin). So when the purchase is completed, the sold code also has to be inserted in the booking plugin coupon section, to be used when actually creating the booking.
Hope there is a practical solution for this.
Thanks in advance!
]]>We’ve added 14 serial numbers into a keys for a product, and assigned that key to a virtual simple product, that has 14 in stock.
None have been sold, but we keep receiving this email:
“There are few products stock running low, please add serial numbers for these products”
Are we correct in assuming that we enter multiple serial numbers in to a key, and the plugin removes them as sold? Or do we have to create separate keys for each serial number?
Thanks!
hello there is it compatible with multi-vendor plugins like Dokan, WCFM or multivendorX plugin?
if not, any future changes would be in your plan?
]]>Hi there,
When I add a product to the cart with pre-generated serials I get the message that there aren’t enough codes available. I generated 100 codes via the generator. I always used to sell these codes and send them out to my customers. But after some time, this doesn’t work anymore. The strange part is that when I manually add serial codes that are generated by an external generator, the error message for the customer disappears and the order can be processed.
This issue has been going on for a while now, and I’ve mentioned it a couple of times. I repeatedly get the response that this will be fixed because of the functionality that you changed. Right before this issue showed up, I purchased a lifetime membership because the plugin did everything I wanted! But now you change functionality that isn’t even in the changelog. And now I have a plugin that won’t sell my codes. It will only work when I generate codes somewhere else, import them, and sell them. While you’ve got a built-in generator.
For my user case, I can’t connect a rule to it because the codes are used in an external system that has the generated codes imported, not the codes that are automatically generated when they are out of stock and new ones are generated.
I hope that by putting the case here, it stays on top. My first event after this change was already a mess because of this, and I am starting to look around for another plugin that can do the job.
I seriously hope I don’t have to go this way because I really liked it. But the doubts are coming in more and more. This is a sort of last panic call to get the issue fixed. Please bring back this functionality.
I hope you can help!
All the best,
Bouke Koning
Hello I want to add unique codes/ticket numbers to my products so if someone buys a lot of them they will receive a number for each product they buy. Can WC Serial Numbers do this?

]]>Hi all. I apologize in advance for my English.
I have such a problem:
When the client pays for the product (activation key), the status of the order is “processing”, this is not correct, after payment, the status of the order should change to “completed”.
How can I solve this problem?
P.S. in the plugin settings, the checkbox is active: Automatically completes orders after successful payments.
Hello
.
I am looking for a monthly code license sale with the possibility of renewal
(Preferably with the possibility of renewing exactly the same license code that the customer purchased from the beginning)
And if not, at least inform the customer about the expiration of the one-month code and the need to buy a new code!
.
But now, even after the license expires, a reminder or invoice is not issued to the customer!
.
Can you guide me in implementing this?
Serial Number Plugin isn’t assigning keys to orders for some products, when customers order products keys in my website, they receive some of them, but in the rest of them, they have this message is displayed : “Pedido en espera de asignación de números de serie.”

]]>Using Serial number Version 1.4.5 and the plugin WooCommerce Checkout Manager PRO version 7.0.5 is impossible to see the woocommerce orders.
You can see the listview, but if yuo try to enter (clicking over) and order you see only a white page

]]>Updating pro-plugin this afternoon seems to have rolled back the version. My update notes list as updating from 1.3.11 to 1.4.5, now version shows 1.1.7 and I have a message stating:

Also checking license expiration message “something went wrong” shows up.

]]>This is more of a feature request. We generate our serial numbers using a specific method: SKU-Date(DDMMYY)-Order# (or we might change order# or a sequential number if need be). I know this is somewhat complicated, but it would be a nice feature to be able to build our own logic for the serial # generator.
]]>I have products with a serial generator for each product.
Occasionally I have a previous customer that needs a serial disabled and a new one created. This can be quite time consuming to generate a new serial, go into serials, modify serial to mark as sold and attach the order ID.
Is it possible to add a “create new serial for order” or “generate serial for order” function to the view/edit order page? That way I can edit the customer’s order and simply click a button to add a serial to it and resend their order email.
I recently switched from sw add-on which has this feature and it was extremely convenient.

Before asking for support we ask that you check out our documentation: https://pluginever.com/docs/wocommerce-serial-numbers/
We are constantly adding new articles and improving existing ones as the plugin develops. If you don’t find your answer there feel free to post a support topic.
]]>Hi, is it possible to create a user registration form using the serial/license number validator API to automatically approve/decline user?
]]>In which file can I customize email notifications? Thanks
]]>Hi,
At first: congrats to the plugin, it’s generally an awesome product.
BUT – as the title suggests, I’m totally unstatisfied with the documentation. Currently you have 8 articles in the plugin knowledge base, and none of these articles include the following information:
What does ACTIVATION mean at all? What is this feature, how does it work?
I would appreciate if you shared some relevant and detailed information.
And a question: I tried to implement a custom activation programmatically, because I had the idea that this ‘activation’ thingy might be related to the serial number status/availability.
I used these codes:
1. Updating availability:
$sn_id = 344;
wc_serial_numbers_update_serial_number_status( $sn_id, 'available' );
?? This snippet works as expected.
2. Updating activation status
$sn_id = 344;
$sn_Obj = wc_serial_numbers_get_serial_number( $sn_id );
wc_serial_numbers_insert_activation( array(
'serial_id' => $sn_id,
'active' => 1,
'instance' => $sn_Obj,
) );
?? This snippet doesn’t work. At least not as expected. It created activation entries all right, but all activation column data is missing – and this data should be there, based on what I see in the related functions file on Github.
Thanks in advance for your information, and ideally with your help regarding what am I doing wrong with the second snippet.
