Works great.

In our setup, this allowed users to create accounts at checkout that were less than the required settings. This resulted in Woocommerce being unable to auto log them in after checkout. They also couldn’t log in manually, as the password didn’t meet the requirements in the backend.

WordPress password requirements are the epitome of programmers telling customers what to do without having to deal with the day to day headaches of customer support or sales conversions. Yes, it is more secure. No, it is not worth it.
Being able to specify a reasonable level of security or turn it off altogether is an absolute lifesaver.

We had customers complaining that they could not set passwords. The last thing my client wants is lost sales! The built in strength checker has no configuration options, and I couldn’t see how to easily override settings in my theme. I didn’t want to disable the built in strength checker completely as that means single character passwords are allowed.
Using this plugin meant I could allow “weak” passwords, which still forces users to have a reasonable length password with a mixture of letters/numbers etc.
After installation the new settings are found under Woocommerce > Settings > Accounts. Really easy to use, thanks!

I am using the lastest versions of WordPress and Woocommerce. I don’t know if the plugin is working or not. There is no explanation of what levels 2-5 mean. Is level 4 (default) the same as Woocommerce (12 characters, etc.) and what are the requirements for level 3 (weak). Having it set to level 4 I still have to use the Woocommerce 12 characters, etc. It does not look like it is working.

This is an essential woocommerce plugin to prevent buyers from getting the jitters and losing sales.
It’s working perfectly for me with the latest wordpress and woocommerce, but it would be even better if it also prevented the password strength meter from appearing as well.

Don’t know why Woo Commerce requires such rigidly strong passwords, but this plugin sorts that….

The little plugin does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
I’ve only used it on dev sites so far but I will update my review when I use it on live sites.

Works like a charm!

Plugin works as stated but would be good to be able to have more control over what format you require the password to be.
