Oliver’s support for this plugin is nothing short of amazing. He answers emails immediately and is willing to help resolve any and all issues. The rest of the WordPress plugin community should take a page from his book.
The plugin’s Premium Version does everything I need it to do and more.

I have discovered WATS few weeks ago. I have searched a simple ticket system to setup for few months before that. I had problems in the past with obsolete plugins and was concerned that I would invest time to install and configure a plugin that could potentially not work or not be maintained…
It worked directly without any issue. I had few questions that the developer quickly answered. The good thing is that it perfectly integrated with my WordPress template without any requirement to dig into the template code.
There is a good number of options available so it takes a bit of time to familiarize with the plugin but most of the default settings were enough for me. So far so good!

When I discovered WATS, I jumped right in and bought the premium version as it provides all the functionality I was looking for.
I had been testing a number of support ticket systems for my new web site, with little success. However, WATS does exactly what I need: the ability for the user to raise and update tickets through the front end, and for email notifications to be sent to admins and the users.
I had a few questions on configuration, and Olivier responded very quickly and helpfully. He provides excellent support, answers all my questions, and even sent me a CSS snippet to help me.
I highly recommend WATS for its many options, ease of configuration, seamless operation for users, and especially Olivier’s excellent support.

This ticket system plugin has so many amazing features. It’s hard to believe that the premium version is priced so low because you get all the features as those expensive plugins, and more. If you have any questions, Olivier is very quick to respond and quite helpful. He provides excellent customer support and answers all your questions before and after you get the premium version. I highly recommend this plugin to anyone looking to deliver quality support to their customers.

I have been trying several plugins before selecting WATS. I always missed some key features with the other plugins. Then I finally found WATS. It has a lot of features, even some that I don’t know if anybody is really using them as they sound really specific. Anyway, it meets 100% of my needs.
Then I wanted to have a clean plugin that doesn’t create new tables in the DB, WATS does this well by reusing WP custom post feature.
So far, so good, 5 stars!

We have been using the premium version for the last year or so and Olivier has created a number of customisations for us (which get incorporated in the new releases). Olivier really “gets it” when you give him a spec he understands what you want, not what he thinks you want. Responsive and quick at delivery.
Easy code to work with in terms of css customisation to make it fit with your theme.
If you want a cost effective ticketing solution then use this.

WATS is an excellent solution for budget minded site owners who don’t mind tweaking a little code here and there. The dev always replies to email questions and it pretty quick to fix an issue/bug or offer help.
The only thing I would like to see in the near future is the ability to check if a new version of WP breaks any part of WATS. This has happened in the past and it will probably happen again, which is why I don’t update WP on day 1.

I have been using WATS for 6 months now and it works really well. At first, we have been submitting tickets through the admin side with the free release. Then, to enhance user experience, we have been upgrading to the premium release in order to be able to take advantage of the frontend submission of tickets. I tested/demo’d all the ticket systems out there thoroughly, and decided that WATS Premium version would be the one. Really glad I made that decision! It really is the best one out there and, very importantly, Olivier responded immediately to my emails and was incredibly helpful over several days as I worked through some unique issues.

WATS works fine! It is easy to setup and is compatible with latest WP release.
I had few questions to customize the look and feel of the system and the developper answered those very quickly.
The premium release provides advanced features like the notifications which were quite helpful for me. But I was also really happy with the free release.

You can’t get any idea how the plugin works unless you purchase it — because it’s crippleware. So I purchased it only to find out it’s a big mess. It took me a week to figure out that the settings menu wasn’t appearing because apparently only “administrators” can see it in the wordpress dashboard. I was a Super Admin. Then iti just got worse from there. After 2 weeks of struggling to get anything to work — including email alerts, I finally installed SOLA Support Tickets and had everything up and running in 30 minutes.
Then to make matters worse, when I requested a refund from WATS, Olivier was rude, refused the refund, and when I told him I would leave a negative review he threatened me with lawyers.

It is impossible to see how this plugin would look from a customer point of view entering their tickets to me.
I understand the need to cripple freeware with this is taken too far.
Alternative suggestions:
* Allow client side submission from a single test user only
* Limit the total number of tickets to a low number such as 5.
From the authors comments it is apparently possible to enter tickets using a guest admin mode whatever that is. I couldn’t find reference to it in the docs. I tried viewing my test page whilst logged in as super-admin and still it says that it is disabled.
If I can’t see what my customers would see, then it is no-sale. I am not going to pay for something if I cannot tell that it does what I need it to do or that it looks like it is part of my own site and not a bolted on addition.

I have implemented global tech support operations for two major medical companies before striking out on my own as a web consultant. Truly well done tech support is rare these days. This system contains everything an educated and/or formally trained Support Resources Director or Manager of Technical Support would ever need to do technical support correctly. If you lack such training, no worries. This thing just might save you from yourself when it comes to tracking all the requests that are inevitable with a tech operation. I still use Trello, but now I can focus on using Trello for what it is really supposed to be used for, and allow this plugin to expand my operations into specialized territory that has the potential to re-capture a lot of revenue. This is an amazingly inexpensive system that supports a key paradigm in the problem resolution protocycle: Root Cause Analysis. Beyond that, it can enhance your business AND technical support operations in many ways. It has fantastic documentation, an extremely intuitive setup procedure, and a feature set that makes sense for its intended use case. In the right hands, this plugin can easily transform both the internal operations and client-facing operations of any company. It is extremely well thought out and instantly practical. This is worthy of an award. It is right up there WP-Client for it’s use case (and I’m going to push it and see if I can use it inside WP-Client Hub Pages…but that’s just my own thing to try), and anything delivered by my other favorite company, iThemes. It is stable, fast, and easy to customize. It is feature rich, incredibly flexible, and very easy to style and brand. This is worthy of an award. It is one of those plugins that truly helps set the WordPress community apart from the rest. I bought the premium version immediately. To me it was a no-brainer. Kudos to the author for publishing a plugin that increases dramatically the relevance of WordPress to company operations and infrastructure.
ADDENDUM (Jan. 2015): I have been working directly with the plug-in author to provide specific customizations for a client that I am implementing this system for to build up his own software development infrastructure. The author is responsive, professional, and extremely interested in making sure I am satisfied with the work. His philosophy of customer care is clearly reflected in the way this plugin was structured and the thought processes behind it. I am glad I paid for it. Totally worth it.

The point of a ticket support is to allow users to submit tickets. You don’t allow that in the free version effectively rendering this plugin absolutely useless.
