This plugin is no longer supported by Wapple – you can’t get an API
]]>Plugin is unusable because the webservice and site it contacts(wapple.net) no longer exists.
]]>Upgraded to latest WP, and it’s cuing multiple fatal errors.
]]>I am curious if this plugin has been tested on 3.5.1. Does it work with this version? Also, does this plugin support an Ecommerce website?
]]>While trying to use this plugin in a install behind a proxy, I found out that doesn’t support the default class of wordpress for http connections.
See here for examples and docs about this:
here and here
Meanwhile, adding in wapple-architect/theme/functions.php (line 181) the following will make it work:
curl_setopt($c, CURLOPT_PROXY, 'proxy.example.com:3128');
curl_setopt($c, CURLOPT_PROXYUSERPWD, 'user:pass');

According to the plug-in’s description: “You haven’t saved your free Wapple Architect Dev Key, get one from here: https://wapple.net/signup/wordpress”. There is no such item on that page anymore. The site requires you to buy a 5 pound per month or more subscription.
I understand this is business and people have a right to make money with the work they do. However, the statements made within the plug-in are incorrect. Either they should be correct, or you need to remove that statement from the plug-in you release to WordPress.
]]>When activating the plugin I get an error message as follows ‘You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘TYPE=MyISAM’ at line 9 on line: 1471′
Is there a fix?
]]>I set my Mobile Redirect to “YES” under the “ADVANCED” menu of the Wapple plug in and set the link to: https://m.facebook.com/danielrolnikART .
However, when I type my website address into my safari browser on my iPhone, it is not redirecting to the other site. Instead, it continues to load my original website.
I’ve cleared my cache, history, and cookies on my iPhone.
The reason I need to do this is because I have the “Arty Popup” plug in running on my website, but unfortunately it loads too large on a mobile device so I want to redirect my mobile web traffic to my Facebook page, which should load absolutely fine.

]]>The Wapple Mobile version of my site garfieldsuiteshotel.com shows a Heading, “Missing Label.” It doesn’t appear to matter which theme I use. How can I remove this from the mobile version or supply a proper link and text? I cannot find a setting for this in the WordPress Plug In. If it is pulling this as a tag from the primary site, what tag? TIA for your assistance!
]]>I’m sorry, but I can’t sign up every time I want to install this on a client’s website!! DUH.. who thought that up? Did the developers ever think that there might actually be designers installing this, and not clients? LOL!
Suggestion: Set up a Developer to Client account? Maybe something that we can sign up ONCE for, and NOT have to pay monthly fees to keep the ads off THEIR websites?
oh. And I love the idea of this nugget:
If you reach your purchased page view capacity in any month, your site will become ad funded for the remainder of the month.
not TOO unprofessional..
just my 2 cents. I never leave comments like this EVER, this is a well-deserved first..
]]>Hello all,
This plugin is perfect for what I want the only thing is I need it show my translation plugin. The option is there and it is even showing the title I’ve used but not the flags themselves. I am using mobileemulator to view and also checked my mobile version of my site on my desktop so I haven’t actually viewed it through a smartphone (I don’t have one).
My site is https://www.englandculturalhomestay.com you can switch to mobile version at the bottom of the screen.
Any advice would be hugely appreciated as I’ve been trying to sort out a mobile friendly version for months but have had different problems with various plugins.
Thanks a lot for your time.
]]>I just installed Wapple Architect and tried configuring it to my site. (https://handsonaswegrow.com) – everything looks like it’ll work, it says in the status that is it working correctly – but when I check it on my ipod Safari browser, I get:
Cannot Open Page
Safari cannot open the page.
The error was: “cannot decode raw data”.
When I deactivate Wapple, this doesn’t happen. When I activate the plugin, it does it. I’d really really like to use this plugin, it seems to have every feature I want… help!?
]]>Why even try with this thing? Their registration and back end on their own site is fraught with troubles.
We’re done with it.

]]>WordPress websites are garbled without much customization. Seems like this product is made strictly for blogs. Does not display my website home page, instead shows blog posts and garbled menus. I purchased wapple-architect because I believed the hype about web themes would carry over to mobile. May be true, but would need LOTS of css customization. Out of the box, wapple-architect defaults to a bland iphone theme. Bait and switch, if you ask me.
]]>I have a multisite instalation, and when I active this plugin the blog loads too much slowly.

]]>I used Wapple to have a mobile version of my site visible on devices. It worked fine for a bit, then ads for Wapple – the plugin – showed up at the top and bottom of the screen. On a small device I think this highly inappropriate. I’ll either find another plugin or write a mobile stylesheet.
]]>Wapple architect started out great for me. It allowed me to mobilize my website in minutes. Of course some features were missing- like being able to create a custom, static home page… But with some unnecessary tweaking, I was able to figure that one out on my own.
Now Wapple has spoiled its once golden image by deciding to plaster huge- and we’re talking HUGE ads atop every single one of your mobile website pages. Its sort of like how a dog likes to make his mark by pissing on a street-light.
I hope to god now that someone makes a new mobile plugin that trumps Wapple and cripples these capitalist-minded pigs who fail so miserably at understanding what true ‘open source’ philosophy is all about.
Thanks for nothing, Wapple.

]]>Hi.
I know I missing something but my menu has links like https://www.increatives.com/productos but actually the real link is https://increatives.com/?page_id=269. Please could you help me here, I pretty sure I missing a detail. Thank you
Hi there
I’ve been having a problem changing the image used specifically for the mobile site header. Our website is https://bjseminars.com.au
I created an image that proved too small, so want to change it. Although I’ve now created another, which I hope will be the correct size, the previous version is still loading. I’m assuming this may be because it loads via the Wapple server?
Steps I’ve taken to try and fix the issue include a combination of the following:
1) Clearing browser cache each time (of course)
2) De-activating, deleting, reinstalling and activating the Wapple WordPress plugin
3) Checking the site via FTP, php admin and MySQL to ensure no files or database entries remain after the plugin is uninstalled (there appear to be no tables in SQL anyway for this plugin, even when installed and activated)
4) Deleting the Wapple Architect Dev Key AND the site itself, using the Wapple website dashboard, then obtaining a new dev key and adding the site again before reinstalling and activating the plugin.
None of these have worked and the old image is still showing on the mobile site, although the new one is there in the Wapple plugin settings area of our WordPress admin.
I also have no idea why the settings are kept in the plugin settings area, even though the plugin is deactivated and deleted. They all appear again exactly as I’d set them as soon as I reinstall the plugin. I can’t find any SQL database entries or table items to delete that would fix this either. Where are these ‘leftover’ files and settings stored in the WordPress installation, so they can be deleted before reinstalling and reactivating a completely ‘fresh’ copy of the plugin?
Any advice or assistance you can give me would be much appreciated!
Cheers
Sue
I would like to know if it can be views well on other screen resolutions like tabloid
Does any one use it?
Thanks!
]]>Okay, installed the plugin. Works great. Initially I was able to upload my mobile banner and tweak a few things. Now I can’t???
Where the HECK do I go to change the settings for this plugin? And yes, I’ve installed the mobile admin plugin as well. None of the tweaks allowed remotely include what I was able to do before, i.e., changing my banner and such.
]]>I have this plugin installed so the sidebar displays on the mobile site. This was the best I way I had to display upcoming events in the order of their happening instead of when they were posted. The problem is that clicking on the event takes the user to the desktop site. I thought that maybe it was because the events are custom post types or something, but they’re not. Any suggestions?

]]>Does Wapple support a way to do drop down menus? I have a lengthy menu and trying to keep it usable on mobile versions. Right now it is just wrapping additional menu items that go beyond the width of the iPhone/Pod screen.
So far this is the best wordpress mobile plugin I’ve found.
