Hello everyone, I’m really bothered because I finished my WordPress site, everything works except the image of the avatar proposed in the Opensim avatar creation form.
I installed ImageMagick, the one offered by WordPress extension.
PHP does not work with the extension.
I want to put by myself without going through ImageMagick, 2 images, (man and woman). How to directly access the HTML or PHP of the form in question? So far, I’ve tried everything, even a professional webmaster hasn’t figured out how to do it. Please help me, I don’t want imageMagick, nor for the site to use my opensim profile photo. Just give the link to the photos that I put in media/Wordpress. Url: “https://chemin/photo.jpg” If you can help me, that would be really nice of you, with all the interest I have in w4os.
Sincerely.
Profile pictures are not displayed on the profile page nor are they displayed on the avatar models page. I turned on WordPress debug to see the error logs. It shows that ImageMagick which was required for W4OS, does not know how to dcode J2k files. This is the format used by Opensim for profile pictures. “Uncaught ImagickException: no decode delegate for this image format `J2K’ @” Are there any recommendations on how to resolve this isssue in W4OS?
]]>Dear all,
I had set up one region in OSgrid at https://www.osgrid.org .
Has OSgrid already had Robust Server (Robust Datbase) & Web Asset Server …etc ?
Does anyone have experience how to set up w4os to connect to my region via OSgrid ?
Thanks !
Best Regards. Cloud
]]>Hello! I installed your plugin on localhost. Me grid is OS v.0.9.2.2. WP version -6.1.1. PHP – 8.0.7. Plugin installs well and connected to my DB too.
So, when plugin is active, all pages becomes unavailable for visit. It shows error:

Wats wrong?
Thank you!
Hello,
Thank you for providing the Web interface to OpenSim. Just what I need to manage my OpenSim installation.
I’ve got both Robust and OpenSim running on the same Windows server with Internet user access via a public adress. I’ve installed WordPress on my WAMP and have set up a WP DB. After downloading W4OS via WP, I tried to do the installation, but got stuck at the first step, with the error message in the title above.
Login URI: Public_IP_Address:8002
W4OS was able to reach my ROBUST server since it autofilled the name of my grid (the lost continent of hippo). But for some reason, it could not go any further because of a problem with the Robust configuration.
The configuration of my ROBUST was done through Robust.ini and not Robust.HG.ini. Might this be a problem?
Another problem I’ve got was the imagick.dll. When I tried to load that into PHP, got the following error:
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library ‘imagick’ (tried: c:/wamp64/bin/php/php7.4.26/ext/imagick (The specified module could not be found.), c:/wamp64/bin/php/php7.4.26/ext/php_imagick.dll (The specified module could not be found.)) in Unknown on line 0
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Giang
Hi !
I’ve found your plugin, and I must say i’m impressed !This does most of the things Opensimulator lacks as web interface.
Context : All linux environment ; I aim to setup an Opensimulator server using Robust and Hypergrid [Tho only my admins can go explore Hypergrid, and not accepting foreign visitors]
Database (Mysql) and Opensimulator/Robust are on same server, and my wordpress is on another .
All prerequisites have been met so far (WP extensions, user entry in database with permissions, WP pages for display/register)Also, I’ve verified the lower/upper case problem with database name
Since W4os cannot connect to DB but its credentials exists, I suspect it has something to do with the hostname required for Robust Database
I’ve been trying with IP of database host server, IP:port, DNS, and also what hostname:port database store in it’s variables
I’m always encountering the same error saying it can’t connect
Error :
w4os – OpenSimulator Web Interface:Could not connect to the database server, please verify your credentials on OpenSimulator settings page
Robust/opensim and Database are online and working. I can connect to my grid via viewer, and I can access DB via phpmyadmin
However, I don’t have any Robust/opensim console feedback when I attempt to connect. I not sure if I should expect some
If you have any ideas where’s the problem coming from
I’ll be happy to provide more data/information if needed
Thanks for your time
