There are several accessibility problems with this plugin.
First, note that the audio captcha option is the very last element in the form. Screen reader users have to navigate through the entire thing before they even find out an audio option is available, only after having to hear “click or touch the chair” and then a bunch of nondescript “internal links”… and then finally, an image called “audio image.” Chances are, people will give up, before getting there, and when they do, they might not figure out that activating “audio image” will present them with an audio captcha. The audio captcha option should be the first focusable element in the captcha section (in the dom, if not visually), and should say “activate for audio captcha” or similar, instead of “audio image.” The images for the visual options should have alt texts of empty spaces, so they aren’t read at all.
But worse, when you finally do select the audio version, the audio captcha starts speaking immediately, BEFORE the screenreader is finished telling you that you clicked the button, so you don’t even get to hear it!!! The info you need is drowned out by your own screen reader. There needs to be a delay, then instructions, then the code. Activating the “audio image” button again does NOT read you the audio captcha again, so you are completely out of luck.
I hope the developers can update this plugin, and test it with real screen reader users. It sounds like it is lovely for sighted users……

It’s simple to use, and easy for developers to support other plugins/forms.

If the authors keep adding just a little more spit and polish this will be a 5 start captcha soon.
The add a hook on the fly feature is a fantastic idea.
The using Google CDN for jQueryUI is a little questionable, not exactly WP best practices.
Multisite seems broken, which is the real shame here. It works on some sites and not others, using the same theme. (Remember, I know how to add hooks, it’ not that or a jQuery issue, the actual images are broken) The issue is how it carries sessions using cookies. I think there may be a better (more reliable) way to handle this but I’m not sure how yet. For a free, self hosted product, I can’t complain too much, these guys did really well and kudos to them for releasing it into the wild.

This pluggin isn’t working with the visual part. I couldn’t login into my website at all after activating the plugin.
I couldn’t find anything on the internet why it wasn’t working. On my mobile phone the drag and drop part wasn’t working. Tried Firefox, wasn’t able to drag and drop. In Internet Explorer I could drag and drop but he didn’t recognize the action I did. I also installed the latest Java but I didn’t work out.
Finally I logged in into my website and renamed the folder of the pluggin. Thank god that I could loggin into my website again. After this action I deleted the pluggin folder.

A very nice, secure CAPTCHA plug-in with very friendly support, simple integration, effective and awesome interface. Stop SPAM? Use Visual Captcha! Recommended!

This plugin appears to be well coded and laid out. It works well and the bit of support that I needed from the visualCaptcha team was caring, responsive, efficient, effective and simply, top notch. They helped in making visualCaptcha work with another custom plugin that I use for my forms. visualCaptcha is very user-friendly and professionally presented. My experience to date makes me believe that the people behind visualCaptcha are fully committed to long-term support of their plugin. I highly recommend.

This is how captchas should have been made in the first place! Awesome. It’s very usable and easy to implement.
