I’ve been trying to always display the current year in the copyright field with the following HTML code:

<script>document.write(/\d{4}/.exec(Date())[0])</script>

However, as soon as I paste this line inside of the editor, the screen goes blank, so that I can’t add this line to the footer using “Visual footer credit remover”. Is there a way to add this code nevertheless? I could not find the storage path, where the plugin stores the inputted new footer code in order to add my html script from there. Does anybody know a way to make this happen?

How to remove footer credit of Neve theme with your plugin?

Dear fellows

After the last update v1.3, the Visual Footer Credit Remover stop to work. Even showing the correct substitution on Visual Editor, it’s not working when loading the site, when the orginal Blossom footer is shown.

I have tried replace, insert, before or after, all of them do nothing.

The chosen selector is FOOTER[id=’colophon’] > DIV, but even using FOOTER[id=’colophon’] > DIV > DIV is not working.

Any tips?

I have been using it for a while now flawlessly, but as I updated to your recent update (i.e. 1.3), when I press F12, in the developers console I see the following syntax error:

First, your plugin is great, I wonder why there are only a few installs.

Since there was some recent activity regarding the update to 1.3, I thought maybe you could help me with that question. I’m looking for some way to implement current year/date to the overwrite text, so it can be used somehow like this without manually updating the text every year: ? 2024 by upward

I think the easiest whay would be that the plugin supports shortcodes in the textarea, so that I can simply use a plugin like this to achieve this.
