I have a list of 200+ authors on a blog I manage. Is there a way to sort authors alphabetically on our master list of contributors?
]]>This is a beautiful presentation. BUT I need to be able to exclude an author on the basis of having no published pasts. This is necessary at https://settingForth.org when a new author’s posts are in Draft or Pending Review stages, or even when there are no posts at all as yet for the author. I can’t use the plugin in its current state because of this problem. (I know you can exclude an author by ID, but this would mean every time I add a new author–I have more than 70 now–I would have to remember to exclude them until their first post was published and then remember to remove the exclusion after their first post was published.) Thanks.
]]>This shortcode: [vauthors_page roles=”administrator,author” counter=”%post%” bio avatar border]
produces a visually pleasing page EXCEPT that the avatars (images) of my authors are too small. Here’s the page I’m using to test the plugon: https://settingforth.org/?page_id=7101. (If you look at the page, you’ll notice that paragraphs in the bio are spaced too far apart; I can fix this when I replace my current display-all-authors page with this one, so don’t worry about that.)
Another problem as well: Authors who have been entered into the system but who do not as yet have published posts are showing up with zeroes as their number of published posts. This in itself would keep my from using this plugon since it would be too much trouble to individually list the IDs of these authors as exceptions to list, and then remove them from the exceptions list as soon as the post that is in progress is published.
