I have downloaded this plug in from wordpress dashboard new plug in finder and installer. After installing and activating, I went to the “Virtue Queue” link that exist at the left menu. By clicking on it, these wording shown:
“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
Hello. Does anyone ( @alxuta ) know if this plugin still supported or completely forgotten? I have installed it and it showing blank page at Queue page. Thanks
]]>Hi Alex, I recently found your plugin, and when I install it and hit it in settings, it shows a white screen which says that a severe error occurred on the website. I have activated the Troubleshoot mode to verify which plugin was causing the error, but it is not any plugin, simply when installing once it shows an error. Could you help me?
]]>unable to import file for reading with directory path of my file
i just exported the file using same plugin …
]]>We’ve installed the plugin and tested it with a max of 2 users. There were 27 sessions online. We had to disable Cloudflare cache, but even then only the homepagina redirected to the virtual que page after adding ?123 to the url so I guess also WP Rocket is a problem.
The virtual queue page did not reload after 5 seconds. When I reloaded it myself with F5 I did not get redirected away from the virtual queue when making the allowed sessions 100 (i waited 1 minute for the cron ??
I do like your efforts so didn’t want to write a bad review. We will look for another solution.
]]>Hi Alex,
When i installed this plugin, i am getting same errors multiple times in the plugin settings page.
One like below:
Strict Standards: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, non-static method Virtual_Queue_Admin::theme_options_page() should not be called statically in /home/user/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 287
And:
Strict Standards: call_user_func() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, non-static method Virtual_Queue_Admin::display_header_options_content() should not be called statically in /home/user/public_html/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 1688
Could this be because of php version conflict? Thanks.
]]>Hi Alex,
I want to say that this is an amazing plugin. I just want to know if we are able to use this in a way that instead of it applied to the entire website be set only to specific pages. So each of those pages would have specific queues?
And lastly, I know this is far off but would it be possible to only limit one user-role access per page and exempt another 1 user role to access the page at the same time?
Lets say for Patient User Role would need to be queued each time and Doctor User Role wouldn’t need to be queued and they can access the page at any time?
Looking forward to your response Alex
]]>Hi There,
Trying to install.
1) Plugin uploaded and install with settings updated: https://ibb.co/Bf75GZY
2) You will see the Redirect to a specific page & Restrict a specific page drop downs are empty
3) There is no folder structure created called virtual-queue/maintenance/ from root.
Please can you advise.
]]>Hey everyone. This is exactly what I need for my website. Unfortunately, I am limited in developer knowledge. I got all the way to setting up a cron job (which frankly still have basic understanding of). Thanks in advance for your help!
]]>Can you help me set up the cron job?
]]>Hi! Great plugin, exactly what i needed.
Is it possible to add some text on the white screen that appears to visitors when the plugin is activated but when the header options are not saved yet (when they are not set)
Example text that i want to have: “The virtual queue will be started soon”
]]>Hello!
I am trying to set up this plugin and i am not sure if i have it setup correctly because all users end up in the virtual queue and noone is let through.
Is the cronjob responsible for letting people through?
I am using the crom-job command but i am not sure if that is correct.
/usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null https://website.com/virtual-queue/maintenance/
Hi,
Your plugin is exactly what I need to cope with the number of users trying to buy tickets and overwhelm my server.
I activate it and the active users never ‘work’
I did have caching plugins on, I turned them off.
Any help much appreciated

Love the idea behind what this does and will surely donate if I can get it working.
]]>Great plugin. I have multiple uses for multiple sites I support. I have had issues getting it configured properly.
I set a cron job through cpanel > advanced > cron jobs
get wget https://MYDOMAIN.com/virtual-queue/maintenance/
to execute every minute. But this doesn’t seem to be working.
I used multiple different plugins (wpcontrol, geturlchron) to try and set a wp_cron to access the URL but was not having luck.
Is there anyway you can assist? and may I make the suggestion of adding just a little bit more description to the installation instructions?
Thanks in advance!

]]>Hi,
When using this plugin (just installed – not setup the cron yet) and testing it with a low number of allowed visitors I get “too many redirects”.
Could this be related to an SSL plugin that I have enabled?
Please see the Screenshot
]]>Hi,
Great plugin!
Just a quick question, would it be possible for the plugin to redirect you to the page you landed at when you entered?
If I enter in at /page-1, when I leave the queue I end up on the homepage when it would be better to end up at /page-1
Thanks and again, great plugin!

Hi,
The plugin doesn’t seem to be working. I kept on getting this kind of error.

]]>Hi,
I have just tested this plugin and have had multiple people devices to my site.
I had the “Visitors allowed to navigate the website at a time” set to 10 and had multiple devices connect.
I reduced this to 2 and waited for the sessions list to clear. I refreshed devices and they got a new session cookie and got re-added to the session list however none would be allowed to the site as the Active sessions under statistics remained above the “Visitors allowed to navigate the website at a time” setting.
Can I ask how is the Active sessions calculated and is the way this is handled correct?
After a fair old play I have had no one to my site for a while and it still shows a 8 under active sessions when there has been no sessions at all in the sessions table. If I add a session it increases to 9, I wait 1 minute as per the remove inactive users and it drops to 8 again. Manually going in to set sessions to 0 makes it function again until I have visitors and up and reduce the amount allowed.
I hope this makes sense?
Thanks!
]]>Hi,
Firstly what a fantastic plugin so far! V1 was very easy to setup and looks good so far!
When I have a device in the queue I have the [virtual-queue-position] shortcode which works great.
When this reaches 0 the page continues to refresh but just stays on the same page and does not take them to the homepage.
How do I go about doing this?
Thanks in advance!
Amazing plugin!
