It forces you to sign up for their network before you can use it or place the icons. You have to set the toolbar location on their site. Not sure how that will work if you have multiple sites.
Regardless, this entire concept is doomed to fail based on economic principals. They are essentially trying to replace social media managers with crowd sourcing, and the only way that is beneficial is if they pay them less (in merchandise). So they are trying to hire many people for less than subsistence wages in place of a few employees a business would hire for social media. Who is willing to work for less than minimum wage? People who live in third world countries. Who do people in third world countries share with? Other people in third world countries – basically people who are too poor to purchase merchandise and services businesses are trying to market. Who is paying for the merchandise users can win with points? Unknown. I don’t know, maybe it will all work out. I just don’t think the people who are real influencers will work for merchandise points.
