My Vimeo Simple Gallery suddenly quit displaying the thumbnails. The link still works and plays.
Can you help me to get the thumbnails to work again?
Thanks.

]]>I’ve noticed on my sites and many others using Vimeo Simple Gallery that the dynamically generated thumbnails have a layout glitch in IE7 and lower. For example, if you have 8 videos you’re wanting to display in a 4×4 layout the plugin does exactly that in updated browsers. However, in IE7 the first row of videos gets shifted over by one slot so the layout grid is 3x4x1. Its almost as if a blank div gets inserted as the first entry in the vimeo gallery.
I have tried identifying formatting issues with the native CSS floats but haven’t had any luck.
You can visit my testing site here as an example. Either view the website in compatibility mode in IE8/9 or use the render tab extension in Firefox.
Alternatively you can view Vimeo Simple Gallery’s homepage here in IE7 as described above and scroll down to the demo section to see this formatting issue.
This isn’t incredibly urgent to me as only around 7% of my traffic is from IE7 but I noticed other websites such as this one where the gallery doesn’t show up at all in IE7.
The world would be a better place if people weren’t terrified of letting their computer update, but alas I wanted to bring this issue to light.
