It seems unsupported but I ask anyway. I was using this years ago. No tried again, later found reloaded version.
Both still make video thumbnails but they are not featured pictures in posts unfortunately.

Any chance that it works again?

I would like to implement this plugin on my client’s site, but not if it is unsupported.

Hello, I am unable to pull thumbnails from Vimeo. I tried a public video to see if it had to do with my settings and I was unable to get the thumbnail of the public video.

YouTube videos work as expected but not Vimeo.

Can you advise?

I am using ACF frontend forms plugin with ACF pro and I have a custom field set up for the video url. It works great in the admin area but does not save at all on the frontend. If I go into the admin and then click on update, it does finally save it. But I need it to work on the frontend. Any suggestions?

hi there! i’m trying to add settings to pull private Vimeo video thumbs into my site.

i’ve set up and app on Vimeo but the fields your plugin is asking for does’t match the fields that Vimeo has in their app setup. for instance i can create a “Personal access token”, but the plugin asks for “Access token” and “Access token secret” – which i don’t see in Vimeo.

also, is the “Client ID” field the same as the “Client identifier” field in Vimeo?

could you rename the fields in your plugin to the same as those in Vimeo or would you mind pointing me in the right direction to where i might find them.

I have a video-database on my sports-site. For a Long time everything worked well on all plattforms. Since some months there is no Thumbnail for Facebook any more. First I used Video Thumbnails and now Video Thumbnails Reloaded – both with the same Problem. With YouTube everything works well, but there is no Thumbnail for the FB-Videos. I also tested it with the Test Markup in the admin.

Any way to add support for Instagram video to featured thumbnail?
