This page will change but the problem I am having is that every time I have the plugin activated, it won’t let me leave the page without propting me with the browser prompt “do you want to leave? You might have unsaved changes…”. I’ve narrowed it down to this plugin as this is a brand new site dev and we have like 3 plugins. What can I do?

I needed to use Video Overlay with Color setting (not light pattern/Dark pattern).
But I cannot see the option to choose an overlay colour. The default colour is a white overlay which is not what I want, I want a black overlay. How can I change the overlay colour?

I have a backgroundvideo on my startsite.
When i open it in the preview of my dashboard everything works fine. But when i open it normally or refresh the site, then the video doesn’t work anymore. It’s only showen as a picture.

Thanks for such a wonderful and easy to use plugin. I am facing two issues with the plugin:
1. When I upload video in the Row Background it’s not showing Video. I checked various settings but no luck.
2. When I add Video through Hero Widget, it works. But, it doesn’t play the Audio.

So our client website https://www.merrydalemanor.com/ video on the homepage runs completely fine on Chrome, however when viewing in Microsoft Edge, it doesn’t run smoothly at all, instead it becomes very patchy and blurry.

I can’t for some reason get any of my self-hosted videos or fallback image to work with the plugin. They seem to be loading fine on their own links. Using Chrome on MacOSX El Capitan. Overlays do load.

I wander why video takes so long to load. Im using a dedicated server and the loading animation (the spinning circle) Takes long time.

It will be great if I can get the video to show on mobile, that is showing just the image.
Further I’ve made research the issue is something around this:

I really love the plugin and it’s been really helpful. But I have a video playing on desktop and gif playing for mobile devices. Is there a way to play the video loop in desktop so it won’t show the gif when the video stops playing?

Love the plugin, but would like to know how to enable/disable the video for tablets and mobile devices. I have put a pgn still image link in the WebM URL and poster fallback box but it still shows the video.

I’m getting a white screen where the video should load. Here are the gory details. Thanks in advance!

I’ve converted a 10 second video on https://converterpoint.com . then uploaded all the different versions to my media file in WordPress. I then entered in those urls into the site origin row settings but nothing loads, I get a white screen on various devices and browsers (desktop/tablet/mobile), white screen all. I tested each url in a separate tab and they all worked in Firefox and chrome but not safari. Safari actually immediately downloads the files to my desktop, a little strange. Here they are:

Hello.
Usually window.onload event takes an 1-3 seconds long.
But after adding background video, it takes 10-15 seconds.
Video file is small (2mb), and have a 10 second duration.
Window-load event is used by JS-scripts with additional logic.
How can i prevent onload event delay?

I’m experiencing a problem with the video playback in Chrome, in the developer console I receive the following error:

Uncaught (in promise) DOMException: The play() request was interrupted by a call to pause().

After some searching and adding additional scripts to force the video to play I’ve not been able to find a solution to this issue. Could you take a look?

when using row property in siteorigin the script throws errors.

;Hi, I love this plugin and it was working as stated, but I left one of my sites alone and left on automatic updates, and now the background video doesn’t fill up the entire container background. It’s limited to the main container size.

Strike that! I managed to fix the issue with the some plugin and theme resets.

Is it possible to lock the video position in the background? I couldn’t find any details or plugin settings to do this but I’m curious if it could be done in the Row > Attributes > CSS Styles?

This plugin works great and flawless in most browsers.
Unfortunately not in Safari.

The background-video in safari freezes most of the times (not always), showing distorted colors of the video.
Here how it looks:

Safari is able to load the video, so the fallback image doesn’t appear.
I have a WebM, Mp4 and a Ogg version of the video integrated.

Anyone having the same problem and/or knows how to solve it?

I’ve tried a couple of times to install the is plugin. I then activate it, go to my site origin page builder widgets and there’s no sign of a video dialogue?

I may be making some elementary mistake but can’t think what it could be.

Hey! Great plugin ?? It seems to be working almost perfectly for my site on WordPress 4.5.2 using Page Builder with the Vantage Pro theme, the only issue I have noticed is that when I refresh the page, the video is ‘zoomed’ in (for want of a better description).

Hitting pause and then play instantly fixes it, and when the video reaches the end and loops pack to the beginning it automatically fixes it.

It’s a fairly minor issue so I’m not too worried, but the fact that pause and play fixes it makes me wonder if it could be easily preventable?
