Hi,
I have selected No under this section in the widget:
Show “Required *”:
Let users know the email is required. Even if the email input is empty, they’ll be able to enter it after submitting the form.
Though it’s still displayed – see here (footer): https://new.landmines.org.vn/
I don’t like to have this “Email: * Required” above the text box.
How can I delete this?

]]>Hi,
We purchased SSL license but the only error message we see in our Chrome console is associated with Vertical Response plugin. https://prntscr.com/4n09yc
The reason why this happens cause in this widget, we use link “https://” whenever we change to “https://” — form stops working. Is there any solution you can offer? How can we resolve this problem (make a secure connection)?
Thanks for your assistance

]]>Thanks for the great plugin. I wanted to share this notice I receive when in debug mode related to your plugin:
Notice: Undefined variable: class in /home/public_html/site/wp-content/plugins/vertical-response-newsletter-widget/vertical-response-widget.php on line 85
Appreciate your time and effort on putting this together. Thank you.

]]>Hi, I am not a programmer. Do oyu have step-by step instructions to adding the widget to individual pages?
Right now you have:
===> Add <?php widget_vr(); ?> in your template code.
I don’t know where or how to do this. Can you help?
Thank you so much for this widget!
I have already configured the widget settings and removed from the sidebar in preparation.

]]>This might be outside the scope of this plugin, but I’m wondering if Vertical Response provides any sort of validation/authentication of subscriptions? We are currently getting a lot of “spam” subscribers to our list. I think there are robots that treat the widget like a contact or comment form and are just pounding it with bot subscriptions. Thanks!

]]>Greetings from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico!
We are trying to implement your plugin/widget on our website, https://www.amapaspv.com/wp and are wondering if it is easy to make the form appear wider on our sidebar. As you can see, we have a bit of extra space for it!
Thank you in advance for your kind assistance!

]]>Thanks for this plugin! I’m interested in the custom css option. Is this only available using the shortcode? I’m using it as a widget and I’m hoping I could make my own css file to customize the look of this form. Any ideas or options I might be missing?
I have “Show Widget Style” set to “no” but I’m not sure where to add the external css.
Thanks,
Scott

]]>Hello, I’m having a problem with the widget.
I can’t have multiple instances because when I drag a widget to a sidebar, It dissappear of the “Available Widgets” box.
I need to have it in both, footer and sidebar.
How can I do that?
Thanks!

]]>Hi Zack,
Thanks for making this widget – very useful.
I was hoping I could make some suggestions to add some more css support to the settings panel. I really like that you’ve added the ability to change colors and such.
I changed the width to appear as auto because the default size was much too small for my right column.
I also changed the width of the submission fields to by naming the pixel width instead of “auto” … my concern with doing that is that different browsers might render that differently, though so far that doesn’t appear to be a problem.
And, I centered the “Submit” button using margin-left.
I don’t mind making the changes – I was just thinking ahead to when an update rolls out I’ll have to put the changes into the widget code again (if I don’t forget). ??
Cheers,
Ace
