As a user of the verify-email-for-caldera-forms plugin , what does “this plugin has been closed” mean ? Do i have to remove/disable it from my site ? knowing that its a sub-plugin for Caldera Forms itself. Is there a readily available replacement ? if not how do one control form submissions.

I have an unsolvable warning from Wordfence triggered by the current state of the plugin.

Please advise.

I have setup the verify email plugin with calerda. While testing the email does not come through as the ‘web owner’ as well as the ‘visitor’.

When the verify plugin was not installed on the form all emails came through immediately.
What could be wrong?

I can not find any documentation on the setup of this plugin to work with the forms.

Do you plan on upgrading your plugin Add On to the current version of WP?

I have set up the e-mail validation engine in line with Caldera’s instructions:

The mail also arrives at the person who completed and sent the contact form, but the link contained in it does not work!
What can I do?

Do I have to insert the validation code somewhere else?

Hello Folks, i need some help with this:

i’m trying to setup a shop form with integrated newsletter registration. Therefore i’m in need of a email confirmation (double-opt in) only for the newsletter, not the order.
There is a verify email processor plugin for caldera, which fits my needs to 50%, the problem is: the whole submission gets paused until the email is confirmed,
but i need the submission of the order to be completed independently from the email confirmation.

Any advice how to do this, maybe a modification of the processor?

I would be really, really thankful for any tip.

Hi there, i use the verification plugin to double opt for a ordering process. Everything works, the confirmation email is generated and sent, ok.
When the customer clicks on that verification Link, the main site opens, but there is no message or anything else to give some feedback to the customer. I would be glad, if i could choose a site and a text to display.
But my main problem with the plug-in is, that it doesn’t recognize if an email has already been validated, so that every click on that verification-link generates a new duplicate of the first order.
Is there anything i could do to avoid this?

hello, the plugin works great, but after clicking on the verification link, it takes me to the site, but there is no successful confirmation message or a page where the users can see they have actually confirmed the submission. Am i missing a setting or is there no way to do it yet??

Hi there,
since the update of caldera forms to 1.4.9 the Verify Email for Caldera Forms-Plugin doesn’t work any more.
The first email arrives, but clicking the link just shows the empty form again, nothing happens in the database.
Deactivating and activating Verify Email for Caldera Forms doesn’t help.

I’m trying to use the Verify Email extension. When trying to set up as a processor, it comes up with an error under “Validation Email.” The only option is “no email in form,” but not sure what that means exactly or how to correct this.

There seems to be a bug with the validation link. If I fill out the form in google chrome and click the validation link in firefox (or vice versa), the validation link takes me to a blank page and the form entries do not update with the new email address.

E-mail validation link doesn’t work with latest version of Caldera Forms.
Blank page shown (Mozilla) or error page (Opera) when user click link provided by plugin.

Hi,

When I receive a validation e-mail and click on it, it works fine in modern browsers on computers. On mobile I receive a blank screen on safari and chrome (ios 9.3.1) and doesn’t validate.

Is there a way to fix this for mobile users?
