Hi UsersWP Support,
Since updating to the latest version of UsersWP (which fixed “mb_convert_encoding is deprecated in PHP 8.2”), I’ve encountered an issue where Hebrew characters in the registration success emails appear as “????”.
I’m using WPML for multilingual support, and the issue seems to be related to UTF-8 encoding for non-Latin characters. This problem didn’t exist before the update.
Could you please provide a solution or advise how to revert to the previous version until this is fixed?
Thanks,
Doron
Is there any GDPR friendly alternative like Honeypot Fields, Calculation or something possible when using UsersWP with GeoDirectory? It is not allowed to use recaptcha in whole europe, so any workaround would be really appreciated, as i get alot of spam users registering with it

I have disabled login & registration lightbox but it still shows recaptcha badge in homepages where there is no login/registration forms.
I can’t figure out what I am missing… I can’t get the captcha to show up on registration page.
I did the auto installation and have set the google keys. I have a captcha logo in the lower right corner of the screen that slides out if I hover over it, I have no idea what that purpose is, but I would like to see the captcha on the screen.
I see several posts asking this same question and all show resolved but none show the solution.
I’m building a simple blog, learning WP which is a bit challenging, but I am making progress.
I can register a user account, all that is working but no captcha because it is not showing on the page at all.
Hi, I have installed UsersWP – ReCaptcha, configured it with google keys, but it doesn’t show in my login and registration forms.
I have checked form builder to see if I had to manually add it, but it seems not.
Also, while I have configured it by clicking on a link requiring me to insert google keys, now I am unable to find reCaptcha settings page.
In UsersWP | Addons it isn’t listed.
Since the last update of UserWP, the login with the lightbox doesn’t work anymore. The message “reCAPTCHA ERROR: The secret parameter is missing or invalid. Please try again.” is shown. The login works as soon as the lightbox is deactivated.
How to stop it from showing on every single website page and show only on designated pages? Maybe theres a bug, because it showing on every website page
Settings to NOT show anywhere: https://prnt.sc/FcOcFEm-WREk
The only way to stop this is to totally deactivate plugin, not happy
This is home page: https://prnt.sc/xaAxWu9G_U-X
Thanks
Hi, we use UsersWP in conjunction with geodirectory. Unfortunately we can’t use the plugin for spam protection. In Europe we are not allowed to use ReCaptcha for privacy reasons. Is it possible to extend the plugin with a Math Captcha.

Have been going trough multiple users registrations on our site and found this plugin i was hopping this plugin will help but after installation i can see unauthorized users registration issue still persist.
No use in this plugin and looks like there area some ways to override this security issues and still create invalid registration on WO sites.
I hope you guys create something more efficient to keep all WP sites 100% controlled and both signup / sign in doors secured.
Looking forward for any resolution ideas.
Cheers
I’ve installed the UsersWP Recaptcha add-on, added my site keys for google recaptcha v3, and tested the UsersWP Register and Login pages. v3 does not show up (no tag in the bottom right corner) though I can see there are 2 network requests to the same google recaptcha API as if it’s trying to load more than once. I’m guessing this is because we already have WordPress Login Security by Wordfence using the v3 Recaptcha API as well. Is this a known plugin conflict?
When I switch to Recaptcha v2 version and credentials, it works, showing the checkbox in the forms. I am guessing that this is because other plugins are using v3 includes already, and by using v2 it avoids that conflict. This is only a workaround for v3 not working.
However, v3 is much nicer and we would prefer to use that if possible. Is it possible to check if the recaptcha include is already loaded on page by another plugin and to use those credentials and avoid duplicate include or plugin conflict?
Thanks
When I add reCAPTCHA v3 to my UsersWP login & register forms it works immediately, but if I return to the page a day later I get “keys are invalid error”.
If reset the keys it works 100% again.
Any idea why these would be “expiring” – I have tried clearing all caches etc…
I am trying to use this addon with UsersWP registration. I checked UsersWP register Form and put appropriate API keys. I can see “protected by reCAPTCHA” on the bottom right corner of my website, but the reCAPTCHA checkbox does not show on the register form, while I can still see some script related to reCAPTCHA in the code (developer tools)
Hi I have your User WP plugin with this addon recaptcha but it makes WP User Frontend submit button “disable” so user cannot submit post from frontend .. I deactivated this plugin and it works …
Hi,
I recently just installed your plugins, the UsersWP login/register, UsersWP social, as well as the UsersWP reCAPTCHA.
However, when I press on register or login, there’s no reCAPTCHA showing in the windows. Also, the login and register popup windows were working fine and then stopped working for no reason, clicking on the login/register button has no effect at all.
Can you help with these 2 problems? Thank you
My customers from China couldn’t see the captcha because domain google.com is blocked by Great China Firewall. Fortuntly, Goole gives us the solution: replace with and other links google.com to recaptcha.net.
(see https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/faq#can-i-use-recaptcha-globally)
So I patched the plugin and this solve the problem. But it will be a good idea to place new domain into the plugin nativly so I don’t have to patch it after next update.
Thanks
Hello, I’ve been using your plugin for about 2 months now and I’m using UsersWP CAPTCHA to protect my site. However, I found something that bothers me.
After I’m filling the username and password filled, I clicked login, suddenly it shows the red error “reCAPTCHA ERROR: The secret parameter is missing or invalid. Please try again”
But, when I click the login button once again, I can logged in normally without the error shows again.
This is very bad for my users experience. They may thought there’s an error in the CAPTCHA and refuse to register to my site.
You can try the register page here.
And the login page here.
For your information, this is happening both before I’m using cache plugin and after I’m using cache plugin. (I even clear all cache)
