Hello, for some reason I am getting this error at the top of wordpress.

After install, I noticed the addition of my gravatar in my profile, just kind of floating around in the color settings area. I clicked update, browsed to my new picture, and clicked upload. The screen that came up had this error, and a blank area for cropping the picture:

So I’ll be deleting this plugin.

Nice plugin, but removed it really quickly, as it corrupts images quality, after you upload an image (it was small PNG avatar in my case), it becomes “damaged”…

The plugin was working for a while but recently the images will not appear on the front end and the attempts to upload a new photo fail.

After uploading an image, it goes into the cropping window… When I crop the image, and click CROP, I get an error message…
Image could not be processed. Please go back and try again.
So, the plugin isn’t working for me.

It was a nice plugin. So, my users can now upload their photos and set them as their avatars.
Why don’t you put image editing kit in it like google.

I went through several avatar plugins before coming across this one. I am using a theme called Avada, that makes great use of Author profiles. I didn’t want to use Gravatar.com for a multitude of reasons. This plugin was the perfect solution.

The plugin uses a hard coded wp-content directory. This causes the plugin not to work if a custom content directory has been set. I was able to change it in my install and am working on a patch. I have tried to contact the authors directly but there is no easy contact info or git repo for this plugin.

We have an elderly user base that just could not figure out Gravatar. Now they can upload a picture, or I can do it for them as admin. (Since Gravatar requires interaction with the user’s email, I was unable to do that part for them previously.)
Simple and worked right away, no template changes needed. Perfect.
