I tried this URL to auto apply the coupon: https://immejewellery.wpprovider.nl/?apply_coupon=welkom10e
When a client adds a product to cart, the coupon code is gone. But it should also work before & after a client has added a product to card.
Also I would like to:
How can I manage to get the right working link? Hope you can help me out! I’m working on Google Chrome. Thanks ??

Would love to see this addressed in an upcoming release. Thanks!
]]>Applying coupons via URL fails if coupon is restricted to certain products or categories.
Steps to duplicate:
Create a standard Woocommerce coupon which is restricted to apply only to certain products (or categories).
Add one of these products to cart and apply the coupon manually – works fine, as expected.
Apply coupon via URL, then add one of the qualifying products to cart – coupon does NOT get applied – error message about products not meeting coupon requirements.
If product is added to cart first, then coupon applied via URL – coupon applied correctly, as expected.
Remove product or category restriction from coupon.
Apply coupon via URL, then add the product in question to cart – coupon applied correctly, as expected.
There appears to be an issue with applying coupon via URL first and then checking restrictions.

]]>Hey.
This is a great plugin.
But it doesn’t work when I use wp-rocket cache and there are no products in the cart.
without cache it’s work great.
Settings :
Force session start when a URL with the coupon key is accessed – Enabled
Force session start earlier and everywhere – Enabled
Delay coupon – Enabled
Delay in a non-empty cart – yes
Save on an empty cart – Enabled
Remove “Add to cart” key – Enabled
WP Rocket: Disable empty cart caching – Enabled
When I turn on the javascript reload option it works, but it’s not good for the user experience. Because it loads the page, and after a few seconds it loads again.
there is anything to do?
]]>When we goto a page with the URL coupon, if that coupon is already applied it triggers the Coupon code already applied! message, this is great, however this then REMOVES the coupon code from the cart and the user then needs to reload the page to be able to have the coupon code applied again.
I have tried several different configuration settings and none seem to change that behavior. Do you have any suggestions?
]]>Hello!
So i have a restricred category coupon.
I want to use this plugin to sending links with this coupon to clients.
I have checked the delay option, as customers wont have anything in cart when they click the link, and it works fine.
The problem is that if clients add to cart another product which is not from the coupon category and then adds one from the coupon category the coupon its not added to cart.
If they add the product from the good category and then 2nd from another category it works. Also if they have both products in cart and then click the link it works.
So it works as i want it to work only if the 1st product added to cart its from the restricted category of the coupon. Any way to solve ?
]]>Hi,
I have set up a coupon to offer a percentage discount on our products. When a customer tries to go to the url with the coupon code, it does not autofill when they add products to their empty basket.
If the customer has something in their basket and then goes to the url, it works.
I have tried enabling the “Force session start” checkbox, setting the Hook priority to 1 and also enabling the Delay coupon option but none appear to be working.
Is there anything else to try to fix this?
Thank you.
All the best,
Jay
I tried troubleshooting with all options and it don’t work.
Example: If URL is domain.com/?promocode=cny22&v=0f177369a3b7 upon load, clicking anything will bring it to https://melatidrinks.com/?v=0f177369a3b7 (removing the delay coupon I suppose?)
For current setting, loading into page don’t leave the ?promocode=cny22, is there a workaround for this?
]]>Hello –
So with the following test scenario this plugin does not work.
1) Follow link and it will apply the coupon
2) If you scroll down and click apple pay
3) Don’t complete transaction – close out of apple pay
4) Now go to the regular checkout form and the discount has disappeared
Please advise. This is for an active promo

Plugin doesn’t always add the coupon when using it with ?add-to-cart before it.
Sometimes the coupon code is applied, but most times it is not.
My settings are (free version):

Delay Coupon : Enabled
Check product : Enabled
Hook priority : 100
Remove Activate key : Disabled
Coupon code is valid for the product being added.

]]>Hi. This looks like a great plugin, but it doesn’t seem to actually apply the coupon.
When I’m a guest, I get the “coupon successfully applied” popup on the bottom of the screen. I then add the product to cart. However, the coupon is not applied and no discount is shown in the cart.
“Force session start” is enabled. Any clue what might be going on?
]]>I have a coupon code welcome10 active but when using
“https://example.com/?apply_coupon=welcome10” it does not apply.
In settings it says https://www.example.com/?alg_apply_coupon=couponcode (welcome10) can also work, but neither of these links applies the coupon automatically.
Is there some additional setup needed?

]]>This plugin works well, except it requires a cart session to be established first, or the coupon will not be added. This makes it far less useful if a user needs to visit my site, add a product to the cart and THEN click the coupon URL. Is there any way to make it work without a session?
]]>Hi,
I tried this, but, as per the title, I would suggest that you need to hide the Coupon input field on the Checkout page too, otherwise potential customers without a coupon will just leave and perhaps never return, especially as you may not have coupons generally available.
Thanks.
Hi,
This works perfectly when the user already has something added to cart. To new customers (first time visiting the website), when they land on the page, they encounter the minimum order value warning: https://imgur.com/a/m5yCqaM
In my opinion, the plugin should not check on the landing page the cart value, because the user did not have the time to add anything to the cart.
How can I fix this?
Best regards,
Ricardo
