]]>Hello Developer and Folks.
This plugin is working fine EXCEPT; after the file is uploaded and opened on the internet, the tab shows the wrong file name, the path name shown is correct ONLY, the tab shows the wrong file name and do not show the website logo, it shows the wordpress or hosting site logo. How can I get this fixed?
Would appreciate a response, thanks so much.
]]>Hi,
Nice plugin!
I’ve manually customized the path structure of where media files are stored. In wp-config.php file, I’ve added define(‘UPLOADS’, ‘medias’); after require_once(ABSPATH.’wp-settings.php’); declaration. Upload works as it should be. Then, I saw Upload URL and Path Enabler plugin could help me having subdomain image storing option. ?? I want this kind of URL structure: https://medias.example.com/image.jpg. So I added “https://medias.example.com” in the Full URL path to files field. I also filled Store upload in this folder field with “medias”. If I can see all my images through https://medias.example.com/ (https://medias.example.com/image.jpg is OK), when I upload a new one, and I have a look in the source code of a post, the path to the image is still https://www.example.com/medias/image.jpg.
How could I see https://medias.example.com/image.jpg in the source code of my post when there’s image in this content?
Would be nice if you had a solution to “relocate” (editing path of the) previous uploaded images too. ??
]]>WP version 4.3.4
Plugin version: 1.0.4
I want to store the images for several websites in a subdomain cdn.maindomain.com.
The sites are practically similar but are on other domains like https://www.site1.com and they are on diffrent servers.
When I change the field: “Full URL path to files” on the https://www.site1.com in to https://cdn.maindomain.com the images show on the front-end and in the WP library of https://www.site1.com
But when I try to upload a image through https://www.site1.com the thumbnail does not appear in the WP Library. In the library the full URL is shown, but when I visit this URL an error “not found” is shown.
Strangely when I want to edit the images in WP the image is shown.
What should should I enter in the field “Store uploads in this folder”.
At the moment it is empty, I only have entered the second field “Full URL path to files”.
Tried uploading to new folder using this, but when going into Media Library, I get no thumbnails, seizes up and basically messes everything up. Had to deactivate.
Sadly, I will have to revert to waiting very long times by transferring files from the default uploads folder to a folder of my choice using my Media File Manager.
]]>Nice tool but frustrated that I am not getting consolidated thumbnail files in Media Library when uploading into a directory other than the default. For example, I get img001 640×1040, img001 340×780, etc instead of img001.
What am I doing wrong?
]]>I am using the plugin in two of my wordpress site and in both the site the plugin is not working now. it was working fine earlier. But now it is not working may be after a wordpress update…

]]>This plugin does nothing on wordpress 4
]]>I just created a subdomain “up” to point to /wp-content/uploads and installed & activated the plugin. (My goal is to speed page loading time.)
Nothing has noticeably changed on the site though. The image files are still being served through the old domain & url. If I click on an image, I can manually change the url to use the new subdomain, and yes the image still loads, happily.
Just wondering what the next step might be if I want to have some or all of my blog posts point to the new subdomain for serving image files?
Does this plugin work “retroactively” or only for newly uploaded media?
Thanks!
]]>I would like to change the media location to https://img.mydomain.com/files so I have updated the locations like
Store uploads in this folder : files
Full URL path to files : https://img.mydomain.com/files
After setting like above I have tried to upload a new image. But I see the image is not uploaded to above mentioned location (checked from my hosting cpanel) even the previous uploaded imaged are not displaying in media library. it showing like the screenshot
how can I resolve this ?
]]>Hi,
I am developing locally and am not far off migrating. If I use this plugin to point at a subdomain for my images – how will this affect the migration? I am using another plugin call duplicator that I think only looks at the WordPress directory itself not to a subdomain. Would I just create another subdomain on the production server and then update the directory after the migration (using this plugin again)?
]]>As title says the message is Upload Url and Path Enabler requires WordPress be installed. Please install WordPress. but every other thing working fine but the message is somewhat disturbing for me.
Any idea how can it be removed? Thanks in advance.
