When I try to upload, it adds a weird looking progress meter (I think it’s a progress meter, hard to tell), but it doesn’t ever increase in progress, it just sits there doing nothing. Doesn’t seem to work at all.

As simple as that, it just works out of the box for me.
Thanks, developer!.

My hopes were dashed. This plugin failed to work.

Shows up twice in plugin page and when enables makes some weird redirects loops to plugin page, no admin side isn’t available anymore

I was not able to change WordPress limit by adding settings to functions.php, wp-config.php and .htaccess, and this plugin did it very easily.

I found this plugin very easy to use and effective. It shows the max upload file size set by the hosting provider which was important for me because that also needed to be changed

Does exactly what it claims to – nothing more. Nothing less. Perfect.
Thanks.

This plugin worked perfectly for me. The really nice feature is that it tells you on the settings page what the system upload limit is. If the system default is not high enough, setting the limit with WordPress will not work. As soon as I submitted a ticket to the hosting provider to increase the limit, the new limit showed up in settings so that allowed me to increase the limit provided by the plugin. All is working now.

It makes you think it’s working… it shows that you have a higher upload limit when you’re on the Add Media page. Then when you try to upload something bigger than the original limit – it pretends to go through the upload process but then it finishes up with an “HTTP ERROR” and the file doesn’t end up on your server.
