I needed to install a plugin of 5.5mb. I found out that most wordpress sites allow plugins up to 2mb. You can either change this in php.ini or .htaccess file or just use this plugin. Easy to use and straightforward 5/5.

Stuck trying to load a large plugin (4.9mb) to clients site. Got a max file size error in php.ini Site hosted on GoDaddy, with a 2MB upload limit, and I did not have easy access to client’s cPanel account and honestly I did not want to mess with any code in clients hosting backend. This plugin worked perfectly. Thank you.
Now in 2024, Needed to upload a large plugin…again to a crappy host. Remembered this plugin. Still works perfectly. Awesome. Thanks again.

Plugin does what it says. It seamlessly integrates into default wp uploader. No new tabs or menus. Very convenient. Also liked progress bar and uploaded size counter.

Not a ton I can say about this plugin except that it does what it says. I had a plugin that wouldn’t install due to it’s size – this plugin fixed that.

On the one hand, self-reviewing your plugins is phoney. However, on the other, when people see a “0-star rating” – which is what WordPress shows when nobody else has yet reviewed it – they might not bother to install it because they just see 0 stars and assume that it must be broken.
Well, this plugin works for me on the websites I use it on. It does its one thing rightly. Hence I give it 5 stars. ??
