Using the plugin on a site that seems to have a limit of, say, 4MB but behind a CloudFlare setup with a limit of, say, 2MB… so when the first part of a large ZIP is uploaded (size is 2MB) we get a “413 Request Entity Too Large” from, it seems, CloudFlare. Now we can upload photos of about 1MB. Is there a way we can hack the plugin / force it to limit its chunk size to 1MB?

]]>Hello,
JFYI
I get this error when trying to upgrade plugins by uploading zip file (WP 5.5).
The upgrade works fine (for a small-size plugin) when ULP is disabled
Upload error (code -200) : HTTP Error. (make sure that you were trying to upload a zip file.
Any plugin I try to install, it gives this error.
]]>I just downloaded this today and got the please select a file error. I thought from the other posts it had been fixed, but it’s not working for me. Help?
]]>I only use this plugin to upload UpdraftPlus. All my other plugins are under the 2mb limit that I maintain on my server. It has always work properly. This plugin along with UpdraftPlus is usually one of the last plugins installed. Recently, on a new installation, I loaded UploadLargerPlugins early in installation. Everything uploaded properly until I tried to upload the GeneratePress-Premium plugin. I got the error, “This file does not appear to be a zip file”. I disabled UploadLargerPlugins and then GeneratePress-Premium loaded fine. It looks like this plugin does not recognize the GP plugin.
I also have another question: Does this plugin have to be active for UpdraftPlus to update after it is installed?
What can I do about this Message: Upload error (code -200): HTTP Error. (Make sure that you were trying to upload a zip file
Its a 4 MB true zip file.
]]>Hi, First I’m a complete newbie/novice/tech dufus. Second, thanks for a great plug in! One thing, whenever I’m uploading anything, extra files appear in the media folder. For example i’ll upload “My-Shelter-Instrumental.mp3” and in the media library 3 files appear:
My-Shelter-Instrumental.mp3
My-Shelter-Instrumental-mp3-image.png
My-Shelter-Instrumental-1.mp3
Really clutters up the media library and I’m not sure which is the correct file. So far it only seems to happen with mp3s. Any ideas?
I’m using WordPress 5.0.3. Only plugin’s I have active are:
Campaign Monitor
Contact Form 7
Post Types Order
Socials Ignited
SoundCloud Shortcode
Tuxedo Big File Uploads (obviously)
WooCommerce
Cheers,
Amr

Hi David i appreciate all WordPress work you are doing.. Why not themes? Im sure you don’t have a reason but many users need that :).
Thanks!
]]>Same issue is happening to me. The plugin worked on one machine, but it gets this error on another. Both latest version of wp and windows.
]]>I downloaded and installed the plugin today. I tried to upload a zip file that is about 7mb and the plugin gave me an error message after about 2mb. I tried in both safari and Chrome.
I don’t know the version of the WP but I know it must be very recent because I just installed the WordPress on my site
Please help
Thanks

After I uploaded upload larger plug in app I then uploaded the plugin that was the larger file size, it was a successful upload, then page blanked out and I can no longer access the wp admin page but if I just type the web address 172.97.66.227 I can still access normal web page. Any suggestions?
]]>I think something has broken with this plugin.
When it is installed I can no longer upload plugins. I select the file, the progress bar moves to completion but then I get a whitescreen with the message “Please select a file”
This is on a brand new install with only this plugin active, if I deactivate it I can upload a plugin without a problem.
]]>Getting the error when trying to upload a 4.7MB plugin on a server that allows very little access to anything (including Php.ini). I was able to upload a phpinfo script and find out that 2MB is the limit. I am unable to override this so I was trying your plug-in.
You work is appreciated! Any help you could give would also be appreciated!
Thanks,

]]>Hi, is this plugin compatible with multi-site?
]]>Used this plugin on advice of UpdraftPlus. Just attempted to install their plugin (3.9 mb zip file), and it stopped at 2mb with odd error message “Upload error (code -200) : HTTP Error. (make sure that you were trying to upload a zip file”.
]]>Hi,
I’m currently looking for something that does the same. I only need it for images on the default wp media uploader.
How did you get around the shared hosting max upload size?
Mine is currently set on 8MB but that’s to low.
I added php.ini and .htaccess but no luck.
I’ll download your source code to see but I probably need some explanation to understand.
