]]>Some if our customers reported that they are unable to pay via UPI. Error shows – “UPI ID Blocked”. This creates confusion among our customers. Sometimes, the plugin works without any developer intervention, sometimes it doesn’t work.
FYI: We are using HDFC Smarthub Vyapar UPI ID. We noticed that it is supported by you. We haven’t changed anything in setting in the plugin.

I have three requests to the developer of this plugin
- This setting makes this “UPI QR Code Payment Gateway” plugin gets disabled automatically as soon as it detect non-INR store currency which makes it non usable on multi-currency shops, if INR is not set as store currency.
- My shop is multi-currency and I have set US dollar store currency but customers from India see the price in INR only.
- I would like to request the developer to make it work based on product pricing rather than store currency. Means if it finds product price in INR it should work and if it detect any other currency it should display alert message like “This payment method works with INR only”. Test it with one of the most popular multi-currency plugin which is FOX multi currency.
- Apart from this, please add some customization to the payment form so it align with website’s brand colors, logo etc.
- Also allow to display dot (.) in shop names in the plugin settings.

I recently started my website and integrated with UPI QR Code. It works perfectly when customers pay by scanning a QR code from Desktop. From Mobile, it also works by downloading QR code or using another mobile to scan for payment.
However, the real problem arises when customers attempt to make payments on a mobile device using any UPI app like Google Pay, Paytm, PhonePe, or any banking app using Payment Buttons (Direct Pay) option. I get different errors with different apps – For example – In Gpay, it says “Payment failed. This transaction may be risky…..” In Paytm, it says “Payment declined by receiver’s UPI Payment provider”. However, it works seemlessly by scanning the QR code.

With some UPI apps, transactions were denied due to invalid characters included in the text in the remarks inputbox automatically inserted by the plugin. The option to change the text in remarks inputbox is also kept disabled in the apps. I have not tried with Google Pay. But sure it doesn’t work with SBI UPI App and the official BHIM UPI App.

I am facing one issue that my business merchant upi id is shown under the qr code at the checkout page. I want to remove that upi id under the qr code. Please guide me, how i can do that change as i tried to do it myself but I am unable to locate it in the theme file editor.
I have some knowledge about coding so if you can tell me which line of code to delete or make changes, i will do it myself.

We have installed and activated the Plugin .. Plugin is working on the laptop when QR Code Shows then its working fine . but when we open the website on the mobile browser and make the payment pop up Shown but when we click on the any UPI app Like PhonePe and GooglePay its not working its shows the “For security Reason , You are not allowed to send the money from your bank account for this payment” . So we have change UPI ID now its shows the “Your trying to sent the money to blocked UPI ID ( VPA ). Please try with the another UPI ID (VPA). “So we request you to please Suggest us.
When I installed this plugin, I got this error: “Gateway disabled. This plugin does not support your US currency. UPI Payment only supports Indian Currency. Contact developer for support”.
