Auto update WP core -> work!
Auto update themes -> work!
Auto update plugins -> work!
but…
Auto update self hosted plugins -> work only one! (Manual update by hand also work only one, i don’t know why.)
Auto update self hosted themes -> work only one! (Manual update by hand also work only one, i don’t know why.)

Auto update core send email -> work!
Auto update plugins/themes send email -> not working! (Is its default functional to not sending email from these type of update?)

Hi there Guys,
I have used a small number of plug-ins to update my theme and plug-ins on WordPress websites. This plug-in works extremely well and I would recommend it to anyone.
It does what it says on the tin!
Kind regards
John

As another reviewer already said, there should be an option in WordPress itself to disable updates. In the meanwhile, this is the plugin to use.
Yesterday several of my client’s websites were broken because of the 4.01 update. You can imagine all the troubles I am facing. Not all themes developers are quick to provide a fix, for instance.So, I immediately installed this plugin on all websites to prevent future problems.

DOESNT WORK – its an old plugin!

This is a solution I’d recommend to the non-coder. I’d still like WordPress to consider adding these settings for users to disable since they did add it to core.
IF that never happens, well, at least this plugin exists. ??

Allows auto-updates for major versions, and has more options than I ever needed. Great work!

Great plugin and many thanks for integrating email sending into it!
One thing I would like to recommend is to add its own settings page instead of adding it to the general settings. And even if that is not an option than at least make it clear to the user where to find the settings, for example with a link to the settings on the main plugins page.

I can’t recommend plugin this high enough! If you manage a lot of WordPress sites then you will need this.
Personally, I think this should have a been a core feature of WordPress as by switching the auto up date off you can manage/back up your database/theme/files etc… then do the one click update as you normally would.
As I run a lot WordPress, it gives me piece of mind as I would not want an auto updated problem to bork a site over the hoiday period or the weekend.

Instead of coding in the wp-config.php after spending time with the documentation of the several auto-update options this plugin offers nice time-saving settings including notifications via email.
