I have 9 categories on my site, the slider shows 9 slides. First slide shows only 1 post, the latest post of category 1, second slide shows only 1 post, the latest post of category 2, third slide shows only 1 post, the latest post of category 3, etc ….
Is this possible some way with your plugin ? or is coding required ?
if coding is required what part of code can i change to get the plugin do that ?

So I transferred a website from an old server to a new server. I accidentally deleted the old slider and copy pasted it back in, but now all the formatting is gone. I’ve tried expanding the size of the slider but it still layers things over each other and the side slide bar does not show up.

My slider is here.
I’m having trouble getting text to align and the style of the text on the main banner to play nicely (I want the title bigger and pink like the rest of the page titles and the description plain without shadow effects). I’m seeing overlapping text at the moment on the main banner and the dark strip doesn’t seem to follow the ‘main image width’.
How do I get the thumbnails to also use custom fields that I created (slider-title and slider-description)?
On my thumbs, it doesn’t look like the thumbs are aligning right within the grey areas and the text is also too high.
Can you please point me in the right direction?

Right, when the page first loads, the slider posts are not displaying – just the nav arrows, but if I reload the page, they appear perfectly.
I cannot seem to find a solution for this, which (of course) came about when we last updated our wordpress version.

Even though I love it there is a flaw. Auto resize is not working and never was for me. I got around it with my own CSS coding but unfortunately that caused two big problems (even though the site looks ok). You can see the site here: https://www.scatvsomerville.org
1. Images are losing resolution because I set a width. If I put a 700px width image into a 700px space the resolution is terrible. I have to put a 3000px image into a 700px space for it to look good.
2. The site info will not show up because of this CSS fix. When I remove my width the image will shrink and the site info will reappear.
I just tore out my code and went through a clean install of the plugin and it’s core files on a default site. I couldn’t get it to work so I came to the forums.
If anyone else has run into this problem please help!

My problem was that your plugin’s javascript didn’t worked but content was nevertheless displayed – all of it at once, which looked ugly. Figured out it was because of hardcoded “/wp-content/plugins/” path into upzSlider.php all over the place, and I don’t have wp-content as my default content folder (for security reasons). Resolved it by rewritting your code parts:
wp_enqueue_script(‘example’, get_bloginfo(‘wpurl’) . ‘/wp-content/plugins/unpointzero-slider/example/blabla.js’);
to look like this:
wp_enqueue_script(‘example’, plugins_url() . ‘/unpointzero-slider/example/blabla.js’);
Hope you will recode it in next update so it doesn’t broke ??
