${var}
?string interpolation is deprecated in php8.2. 8.2 is the defacto standard for most WordPress managed platforms like WP Engine. It would be nice if this plugin would update its code to fix the error. It’s rather arbitrarily easy to fix and would reduce a lot of noise in wp-cli.

I hav all the login details i am the administrator.
Hello, I’m a developer and am wondering why this plugin isn’t being updated? After wordpress 5.4 all plugins should have been updated to match the new wordpress security.
Please update the plugin so I can install on our site.
]]>I installed the plugin.
While trying to authorize I get the following error “Sorry, there was an error authorizing with Unbounce. Please try again.”
My DEV site was password-protected at the time. I remove the password protection and still get the same error while trying to authorize.
Any idea what it could be?
Unbounce Version 1.0.45
WordPress.Version 5.4.2
I am the owner of the Unbounce account.
We have created several landing pages using unbounce. Our first livechat is with tawk.to but apparently having issue with the auto-fill of the form. We have switched to zendesk but even removing the javascript of the old livechat (tawk.to), it still shows in our landing pages. I have talked with the unbounce support and they said that the issue is with wordpress caching methods (aggressive – as per them) even we already clear the cache using WP Fastest Cache add-on. We are facing the issue for more than a month now. Hoping to find a fix here.

Hello,
So I am trying to embed an unbounce landing page in my organization’s website. To do this, I had hoped to use the unbounce wordpress plugin. The unbounce plugin is installed. When I try to activate it, I receive the following error.
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/02/8938802/html/wp-content/plugins/unbounce/Unbounce-Page.php on line 24
Any advice on what to do here?
The website is https://www.jackkempfoundation.org.
Thanks in advance!
Edit: After looking further down the list of topics, this seems to be a PhP error. I will try to update it to at least 5.3.
]]>Hi Guys,
I’m using Unbounce for landing pages and would like to use Massive Dynamic to build the site. I’ve activated unbounce landing pages. Now, when I login to the site and try to use Massive Dynamic to build the fuller site, it won’t load the pages or the interface to edit.
Is there a best practice for stuff like this? Basically, I want the landing page up, and I want to be able to build the site. I don’t care for the site to be accessible while I’m building.
Any advice?
Best,
Michael
subject says it all.
I’ve authenticated. I’ve clicked the update wp enabled domains button. Site doesn’t load. bollocks.
]]>Hey there,
So we’ve got the plugin installed on several sites and just noticed that the PageSpeed is much slower for the UnBounce pages vs the pages on the rest of the site. We’re getting load speeds of 5+ seconds and think maybe we’re losing a lot of traffic because of this.
First we contacted Unbounce and asked if something was wrong on their end, but they directed us to contact our host. After comparing the PageSpeed results for pages using the Unbounce plugin vs regular pages on the site, we can see the Unbounce pages are taking much longer to load.
Do you have any ideas on how to solve this or explanations as to why it is happening?
]]>Hello
The ability to use shortcodes in wordpress for the unbounce landingpages is sadly lacking.
Will this be possible in the future, or is there currently a work-around available?
Best regards

When I attemp to authorize unbounce in wordpress, this is the message i get;
“Sorry, there was an error authorizing with Unbounce. Please try again.”
can you help please?
Currently, the plugin admin menu item and settings page is only available to admin level users.
Are you able to give an option to make it available to editor level users, or other WP user roles?
]]>In the latest version of the plugin, the default page server isn’t set on line 288 in UBConfig.php. Until I edited this line, the plugin wouldn’t fetch any of our published Unbounce landing pages. Change:
$ps_domain = $options_getter(UBConfig::UB_PAGE_SERVER_DOMAIN_KEY);
to:
$ps_domain = $options_getter(UBConfig::UB_PAGE_SERVER_DOMAIN_KEY, UBConfig::default_page_server_domain());
Without this change the call to UBConfig::fetch_proxyable_url_set() fails as it doesn’t know where the page server is.
]]>After installing the plugin (Unbounce Version 1.0.16) and clicking on the new “Unbounce Pages” menu item on the left all I was shown was a blank page.
We self-host on our own VPS running Ubuntu 14.04.
I thought at first there was some sort of javascript compatibility error, but finally tracked down the problem after turning on debug mode in wp-config.
The “Unbounce Pages” showed the following error after turning on debug mode:
“Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init()”
I didn’t see Curl anywhere in the plugin installation requirements..
Or any mention of it on the offical site’s documentation, which just mentions:
Self hosted WordPress site, Access to your site admin, PHP version 5.3 or higher. (https://documentation.unbounce.com/hc/en-us/articles/205346520)
You should probably list “php5-curl” as a requirement or check for the existence of the curl function in php and display an error stating it needs to be installed.
I was able to get things working by installing php5-curl and then restarting apache:
# sudo apt-get install php5-curl
# sudo service apache2 restart
Hopefully this helps someone else.
]]>Hello!
I’ve just created a page with Unbounce and published in my WordPress Domain using the plugin. Anyway, I noticed that Facebook e Google (Analytics & AdWords) tracking pixel can’t be found with the FB Pixel Helper or Google Tag Assistant. I inserted the tracking codes in all my website page with Tracking Code Manager Pro plugin.
How can I solve the problem?
Thank you,
Andrea.
Good day. I’d like to request a reconsideration of your debug logging mechanism. It’s common practice to have WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG permanently ON both in development and production, because it’s the only way to catch issues. During the last decade of working with WP, I’ve yet to see any other plugin completely flood debug.log like the Unbounce plugin does, which leads me to believe the developers here have misunderstood a few aspects about WordPress debug logging.
This is way too harsh:
UBConfig.php:
public static function debug_loggging_enabled() {
return WP_DEBUG || WP_DEBUG_LOG || UBConfig::remote_debug_logging_enabled();
}
Could this be altered with an apply_filters()
call for the result, so I could filter it always OFF with an mu-plugin but still keep the rest of my debug.log?
I cannot activate the plugin. When I try, the error comes up saying:
‘Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/b/r/m/brmerchant/html/wp-content/plugins/unbounce/Unbounce-Page.php on line 23’
Any idea on how to fix this?
]]>We have the plugin installed and configured on our site, but it won’t let us view a specific variant. If I visit a landing page and add a.html at the end for example, I get a 404 error. Is this something that can be fixed?
We have hundreds of pages built in Unbounce and many of them have multiple variants. If we can’t get this working, we won’t be able to use the plugin.
]]>I can install the plugin fine, but when I go to ativate it, I get a fatal error:
“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home2/startiv7/public_html/caildesrochers/wp-content/plugins/unbounce/Unbounce-Page.php on line 22”
]]>Just installed the plugin, attempted to run the authorization.
It doesn’t work — just gives me the message “Sorry, there was an error authorizing with Unbounce. Please try again.” I’ve tried again multiple times.
Is there a workaround to get the plugin activated with my UnBounce account?
