I have this plugin installed, it’s being used on a live site with a paid UM subscription. I was shocked to see WordFence flag this plugin as abandoned and not tested with the latest versions of WordPress. Message here:
The Plugin “ForumWP – Forum & Discussion Board Plugin” appears to be abandoned (updated May 24, 2022, tested to WP 6.0.8).
Is someone able to clarify please?

]]>I am integrating UM with GamiPress, which works nicely. I am trying to expand the GamiPress so it will award my UM users when they post on the forums. Problem is, I can’t find detailed documentation for ForumWP and it is difficult to find the Hooks for user replies on Forum Topics. (And the ForumWP customer service is not good). Can you assist with hooks or some guidance?
I am trying to include an add_action() for when a user posts a reply to a Forum Topic. Thanks!

I am trying to set up ForumWP and I am using the default settings and letting the plugin create pages to use – for instance the Forum page.
But why are the topics in that forum missing on the Forum front page?
Is it not possible to have all topics listed on the Forum page?
We only have one single forum with several topics in it, so we don’t realle need that extra forum front page where it’s just the foum that’s listed.

I have processed updates on the website, which then triggered a database upgrade request from both ForumWP and Ultimate Member. These have been actioned.
I now have a critcal error on the website that shows when your plugin is activated. Could you please investigate for me?
I have deactivated the plugin for now – not ideal, as obviously breaks the functionality.

Members directory -UM 2.1.15 not displaying -using shortcode within div. Was working perfectly just noticed now. I regularly keep versions updated. Not sure why? The membership directory will not display members or work constantly on mobile or computer browsers. Sometimes the membership directory can be viewed without any changes /updates from me then also without any intervention from me they will not display. Its not the cache on my browsers. I find the mobile browsers fail to display the membership directory even when the browser can? I haven’t blocked mobile display of page within div plugin.

]]>I am trying to add a new profile form but I struggle with it’s content. (same with the already exisiting profile form)
It’s nice and easy to use the form builder. However, in fact the form in the end contains more than shown in the form builder. There is content from an early version of this website and I don’t know how to get rid of this. Also the live preview of the form builder shows this content which I don’t want and which is not shown in the form builder.
Where do I find it?
This is an excellent plugin. However I’m in urgent need of a tweak to the block username/email feature.
Current you can only block whole words on the username. A feature is needed to expand this to the Nickname as well. Also it is needed to block any username/nickname containing the blocked word (i.e. admin would block administrator, siteadmin, etc… as the username or nickname).
The email block allows greedy blocking (i.e. entire domains).
Can this be added in the next update?

I’m having issue with email verifications being sent to my users. When registering a new account the email verifications is not being sent but I have it set up to approve new users anyway. The email to say they have been approved is also not sending though.
I’m also have a huge issue with users not able to reset their password. They click to reset and are not getting the link to do so. It’s not in junk mail or anywhere else. Not only are they not getting the email but are being locked out accounts because they have forgotten their passwords.
Any help on how to resolve this would be appreciated.

My question is this: between the 3 is it possible to have paid subscriptions for certain forum boards? I know you can set member roles so each role can see certain boards, but I am needing a way for a select few forum boards to be paid only. Is that possible?

I installed the Ultimate Member plugin 2.0.56 and activated, then I installed the Ultimate Member plugin – ForumWP 2.0.3 and when I activate it I have an error message that appears (Sorry. activate the ForumWP plugin to use the Ultimate Member – ForumWP.) off both plugins are enabled. But only the first works. Would anyone have an idea of ??what is causing this error?
