Hi,

When I use the plugin to post an individual page to Facebook it just shows part of the the header image, despite showing a thumbnail of the actual posts Featured Image in the plugin preview “send to” page. This is fine for the Home page to “advertise the whole site but I would have thought it would work for the specific post entries.

unless i’m missing something in settings?

Hello, the vk button does not work for me, the browser reports that the page was not found.

I am really frustrated with facebook, I have fb pages where all pics are just gone.

Also here all shares work but on fb share there is no picture there.

I put a site in fb debugger, first after rescraping preview now only shows a pic from a site menu.

As an alert there is also:

Die Eigenschaft ?og:image“ sollte explizit angegeben werden, selbst wenn ein Wert von anderen Tags abgeleitet werden kann.

and

Die folgenden erforderlichen Eigenschaften fehlen: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description

Further Rescraping doesn’t help.

Any idea?

I use this plugin for a website, and I really love it, but there is an error with
W3C validation:

“Bad value https://twitter.com/intent/tweet/?text=Title Example&url=https://www.nomesito.it/ for attribute href on element a: Illegal character in query: space is not allowed.

So you can see title have a space and w3c not allow space in url.
For now I replaced title with url.

This is a great , light and fast plugin. As I shared articles (ex below)and tried a few others before this, I wondered why some sharing on (twitter eg,) includes some extra info on sharing relative to my blog site that this plugin excludes… (via @rawassertions.com) and is there a reason for this?? Thanks

I’m trying to display the social sharing icons in the bottom-center of the blog post instead of the left side. What’s the best way to achieve that and would the plugin developer consider adding this as an option in the backend?

Hi there

Quick and easy ideas I would love to see in future releases:

– Group icons in a div. It would make custom styling much more easier ??
– A field for custom text, which appears above the icons. It would be great to ask your visitors to share the post.

I understand you want to keep it light and simple. The second questions may be not suitable from this perspective. The first one seems to be more suitable.

I really like this plugin. It’s simple, light and very fast. No loading times. But social share icons are doubled.
