Is it posible (in an easy way) to get shortcodes for each tag cloud for diferent columns in layers theme.
I mean, for example plugin go portfolio or formidable or slider rev generates shortcodes to be embed in any widget, column, content and it works. What about ultimate tag cloud widget plugin??
As I have diferent tag clouds of specific custom fields, for diferent pages, I cannot find out any shortcode. I don′t know how to do it, and I don′t know anything about dealing with codes or phps, or css.

I’ve added the shortcode to my static front page and the page only loads up to the content section. Remove the shortcode and presto, it’s all fine. The widget appears to work dandy though.
I’m using the Twenty Eleven theme. Any suggestions on setup or configuration to make it play on a static page?

It looks like utcw doesn’t work ok with qTranslate-X. The plugin displays the cloud, but the multilanguage support is gone.
I think that it is because utcw uses the old qTranslate define QT_SUPPORTED_WP_VERSION that is missing in qTranslate-X.
As the utcw plugin author stopped to support the plugin (I feel sad for his decision, because utcw is the best cloud tag plugin for Wp), I have opened a support at qTranslate-X forum.
There I have posted a very dummy workaround. You could see utcw and qTranslate-X working ok on my blog: presentimperfecte.net

2. How can we order by most trending (i.e. popular) posts or pages by tags sitewide?
3. How can we order by most recent posts or pages by tags sitewide?
4. Is it possible for it to see the most popular post and pages with associated tags by Google Analytics or WP page views (unique or total views)? If not, could this be a potential feature in the future ya think?

I deactivate the plugin and the problem goes away. Unless there is a resolution I’ll look for a replacement plugin.

I’m using xili tidy-tags to create different groups of tags, for each page / category of my site.
I would like to know if it’s possible to display those group instead of the Selection strategy of your plugin. So i can display only the group of tags i want and not by popularity or random etc… That’s would be great, but as far as the plugin is not updated anymore i think thats this cool feature never see light…

]]>I’ve been a huge fan of Ultimate Tag Cloud for years. But something has gone wrong. I deactivated all of my plugins, and turned them back on one by one. With UTC enabled, wp-admin/widgets.php shows the widgets but no sidebars to drag them to. As soon as I disabled UTC and went back to the widgets page, all was well again.
Any suggestions are most welcome!

My WordPress site has four separate categorized blog pages, each of them with their own Tag Cloud. Only one of them is pulling from the WordPress Topics as opposed to the Tags. My other pages are working properly, just need to know how to remedy this issue.

I am having one problem of compatibility with the WPML plugin. The default language of WPML in my site is set up to Spanish and the secondary English. So here is my problem, when the page is in Spanish is not working correctly, since the Tag Cloud will show both, the Spanish and English tags. On the other hand when the page is in English, the Tag Cloud will show correctly only the English tags.
I don’t know if I am doing something wrong, I hope you can help me.

I am testing various tags plugins and just downloaded yours yesterday, first, let me say that it’s a brilliant tool and it’s a real shame to see that the development has stopped!!! I could not believe it, socially after:
Witnessing, sadly, that most tags associated plugins I have seen here have been dumped.
There is still a lot we can do with tags… Yours is H.O.T. Why kill it?
Anyway, to the issue, pretty straight forward and easy to replicate >
Selection strategy:
When set to “Random” it does show Woocommerce product_tags fine, and that’s the only way to get them to show up ok actually.
Oddly;
When set to “Only terms from the current list” it does not show the product tags at all!
Very strange. It works if I tick the wrong box…
I came across this bug by accident, I was ready to deactivate and delete the plugin to keep searching for a new one… Let’s hope that:

Do you happen to know if there are any other similar tags plugins that are still supported out there? Always nervous to hear “development has stopped” ??
