last updated is 3 years and it is known to no longer working.

Potentially very good but hampered by minimal documentation on how to use CSS to format tables and minimal support through the forum. I switched to TablePress which has a very good manual.

Have been using this on a website for about 2 months now. Simple and effective. No issues and can be tweaked via css if additional customization needed.
Thanks to the developers for making this and keeping it updated!

I was having trouble aligning text without a table, found this recommended in the Elegant Themes blog and it does exactly what is is supposed to. I was able to use side by side tables with easy readability. Highly recommended.

Working fine with 4.5.3. Wish it had documentation. Finally figured out how to add a new entry to the top of the table. I had to manual renumber each line and save. Got to be an easier way.

This plugin is in use and I chose it over others as it seemed more intuitive. However, when updating, I find it impossible to insert a new item except at the bottom, when I need to insert it between two existing items. Having looked through all the support queries, I have thus far been unable to do this.
Not only that but Ultimate Tables own website returns a database connection error when accessed, meaning I cannot view their site either.
Black mark to them and WordPress for allowing the plugin to stay in the list when it would seem that the developer has abandoned the plugin or gone out of business.
Looking through support requests, there do not appear to be any answers to recent requests for help. Presumably, the only way forward now is to find one that works well and is supported. ??

Had some problems and did not get a response concerning the issues. Initially liked it although not ideal that you cannot put in information in bulk (or it is not easy to find) or export the information. I uninstalled it and found a plugin that does this and more.

Excellent plugin, but latin extended characters are not displayed corectly.
When table is saved characters ?, ?, ?, ?, ? are transformed to question mark. Any solution for that bug?

Good plugin and easy to use, ideal for tables without too many records.

This plugin is not so good. Too much self-promotion in a dashboard. Tables creation is not user-friendly. No ajax.

If there was a 4.5 star rating I would have awarded that to Ultimate Tables. This plugin is incredibly easy to use and produces very attractive, lucid and user-friendly tables.
However although UT is streets ahead of other tables plugins I tried, I think there is still room for improvement. I would love the opportunity to create a template table for use on other pages. The tables are not responsive for mobile phone use. And it would be wonderful if there was an option to put a live link within a table – maybe there is using html, but I’m not sure how it works.

Same situation as ananta33 user describes. Spent 2 days to build-up nice table with a lot of data, and when added some more rows (was more than 300) had received empty slots in the beginning of my table. If try to push “save” one more time – all data will become mixed that is the same as total data loss.

This plugin creates nice looking tables, but it is not responsive. On the site where I used it, the table becomes useless on a mobile device b/c you can’t scroll horizontally and it doesn’t shrink to fit the space. Thus only 4 stars instead of 5.

I rarely write reviews or respond to surveys. This product works so well and easy that I had to comment. Thanks

Its working superb

This isn’t really an “Ultimate” plugin. Important functions are missing like importing tables.

Table entry is one area where WordPress does not really offer any built-in support or features. This plugin does the job nicely. I figured out how to put a link into a table entry. Use html code … okay, it’s not rocket science but it might be useful to put that into your FAQ for users not over-familiar with html. It also took me a while to find out that the /1 has to be replaced by your table name in order for it to appear. Again, maybe put this in the FAQ or put it somewhere more noticeable. Finally, I struggled for a while with how to edit a table after a post has been published given that the table code does not appear in the post. However, I figured it out after a while. This too might usefully go in a FAQ.
Overall, I’m really glad I found this plugin and I’m really pleased with it. The only reason I’ve given a 4-star rather than 5-star rating is that it took me quite a while to figure out the three things I mentioned above.
Thanks,
DukeLamonty

Two days working in a table with 200 rows and then all of sudden after saving, all the rows became unordered (data from other rows in wrong rows etc) and I started to loss data gradually, with each saving. And no, I didn’t have backup. I lost the work of two days, I’m quite pissed off and I wouldn’t recommend this plugin for managing a considerable number of rows.

Hi! Great work!
Please change the mysql table charset to utf8.

As a developer, it’s always difficult to write complex tables and then hand it off to a client who has no idea how to edit table code. This plug allows for them to easily make edits including adding or subtracting rows and columns as well as resorting them easily. A simple short code goes into the page where you want the table to be. In addition, you can paginate the table and there’s even a search box that searches the table and brings back only the rows that match the search criteria. Finally, you can click the header cells to resort the table rows by the column of the header you clicked. I’m sure I’m leaving something out, but I’m really excited to start using this on client sites.
