What page should I set as Edit page for WP User frontend as step 3 says?

This plugin seems like a true blessing on my search for a specific solutions. I managed to install everything but run into 2 problems:

a. I want to give the user the ability to add new content for a custom post type with custom fields. I use the free plugin ‘Custom post types’ to generate this custom post type. With ‘Ultimate Member + WP User Frontend – Addon’ I managed to embed the proper form into the ‘Ultimate Member’ login and this works fine: The form data is perfectly transmitted to the proper custom posts section in WordPress. But I have no clue how to display the list of these posts in the ‘My posts’ section. Each user is getting only a ‘You have created 0 posts – No posts found” message. What can I do?

b. Since this is a custom post page and the website is presented in german language, how can I change the menu labels ‘My posts’ and ‘Add post’?

Hi. I Installed ultimate member and wp user frontend. And then, installed Ultimate Member + WP User Frontend – Addon. but I cant activate it. I followd Installation steps, but i couldent understand the istructions.
could you help me by explain easier? with screenshots or a short video? Im An amateur developer!

I tried to add a custom post type form in the profile, the post is successfully created but it didn’t show in the user profile.

My website is not live as yet, I am just setting up and testing.
The problem I am having is in the Members/User pages.
The members profile shows but I am getting the warning message……

“Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in /mounted-storage/home94a/sub008/sc10385/rtraoldham.com/team1rtr/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-member-wp-user-frontend-addon/actions.php on line 62”

The offending line reads………

if(!um_is_myprofile() || !in_array($role, $roles[‘roles’])){

I have not got a clue what any of this means and I can’t find anything in the forums with errors in the actions.php

I have the latest version of WordPress installed with the following plugins…
Ultimate Member with UM Gallery extension and Ultimate Member + WP User Frontend – Addon

Please feel free to test register and see what is happening.

Will this addon work for several languages ?

I’m checking now the capabilities Ultimate Member and of WP User Frontend to work in a multilingual setting, probably with WPML, and so i wonder if this addon which makes the link between the two will take that into acount.

i updated plugin Ultimate Member to version 2.0.9 and WordPress User Frontend to version 2.8.7. But, this plugin cant work again. Please help and update this plugin.

Here’s the fix for the frontend delete post button:
1) Open the user-dashboard.php from the plugin folder
2) Look for: href=”<?php echo wp_nonce_url( “?action=del&pid=” . $post->ID, ‘wpuf_del’)
3) Add {, “?profiletab=Text”} without the {} after ‘wpuf_del’
4) It should look like this: ( “?action=del&pid=” . $post->ID, ‘wpuf_del’, “?profiletab=Text”)
5) Save/overwrite

While this fixes the delete button, it still doesn’t work for drafts. Devs please update.

this pluging is not supported anymore although it’s very useful, but it has some bugs and not compatible with wordpress anymore, so I had to delete it and found another way which is wonderful. I shared it here, you can check it.

I took a look at the previous topics and saw that some users weren’t able to activate edit option. here’s how to do it:
after installing the plugin you must install wp user fronted.
after activating both plugins, go to user fronted>post forms and add a new post form.
after that copy the id of the post form shortcode (just the number) to settings>ufa settings>form id
after that the frontend posting is activated.
for activating the edit option, first add a new page and put this shortcode [wpuf_edit] on it and save it. you can name it for example edit.
then go to user fronted settings and general options and select the edit page and save it. now go to dashboard option and select the first two option to yes.
now everything is ok.
but I couldn’t find a way to activate the delete option.
I think it is a bug and should be fixed by the plugin developer.

thank you for a great plugin.

Currently, I can only “add post” and check “my post” for admin. (only loggedin person). When I click other users profile the “add post” and check “my post” button does not show up.

Can you perhaps help to show the buttons for all other members.
So, admin(site owner) can add post for other members (unlogged member).

In my short knowledge, maybe some php code revision makes the button show for unlogged members.

Would you please help to figure my problem.

i configured my post tab which display all posts by authors, however the tab doesn’t appear when the other user accesses.

i don’t know why cause i set everybody can access after logging in.

great plugin, I was looking for exactly that. I’ll set everything up, the “Add Post” button appears in the user profile, it shows the frontend form correctly.

However, its not working yet: Whenever a user submits an image, its starting to upload the image but before it finishs the upload an error popup appears saying “undefined”. I cant figure out what is causing this. The error doesnt happen when I upload images via the normal User Frontend Form on a page. It happens only in combination with the Ultimate Members Profile (which is what I want to use). So I guess some Ajax problem? Firebug shows no JS Error though.

I can’t delete posts from the Frontend with Ultimate Member & WPUF “my posts page”, it gets redirected to the main page (about) and is still not deleted.

I have installed Ultimate User, User Frontend and Ultimate Member + WP User Frontend Addon. When I click the tub of adding post, I get the following message: Add form ID in Options.

however, i’ve already created form in user frontend (create post form) and got the form id.

There are 3 problems that if you fix them I will send you donation via PayPal and give you 5 stars.

1. Author can’t EDIT his posts. (there isn’t link to do that)

2. Author can’t DELETE his posts. (there isn’t link to do that)

3. Author can save his post as a draft, but he can’t find it!! (There isn’t link to his drafts. It’s frustrating to find out that the draft)

I thing the best place to put the Edit, Delete and draft’s link is on the Post Tab on Ultimate Member profile.

Created posts are not seeing on Ultimate Member’s Social Activity Wall. But If I create a new post via WordPress admin panel, there is no problem, posts are seeing on the wall.

Hi,

I have my setting set so that if someone posts something, it will be set as a draft until an admin has approved it.

However, it seems that if someone creates a post, then edits it and saves it, it will auto-approve itself and display in the frontend.

Can you please look into this?
