This only happens with Ultimate Maps; no other plugins activate this warning.
]]>The ‘All Maps’ list in admin sorts in ascending order of map id by default. That’s the opposite of what would be useful to me; I’d like the most recent maps at the top. With more than 100 maps on this site, and growing weekly, it’s becoming a problem.
It appears that the the ‘ID’, ‘Title’, and ‘Create Date’ column headers are supposed to sort the list, but they do not (although there is a ‘loading’ message that appears briefly when attempting to do so).
How can I set the sort in ‘All Maps’ to descending order? Can you give us some controls over how we view this list?

currently we try to edit the colour of this map. We got a KML with all the rivers inculded and a KML which shows the area of the projekt.
Within the KML we added different colors. But when we upload them, both were shown in the similar blue, which is not suitable, becaus the are looks like a river.
How can we chance the color of the KML which shows the area?

Hello , i’m currently using UltimateMap Version 1.2.18.
The map loads correctly in all browsers except safari on phone, it’s work on ipad and pc.
I don’t know where to fix this problem.

After updating PHP to version 8.1 I’m getting following warnings in debug.log:

I think the if ($dbResId) check should be replaced with either if(isset($dbResId) && $dbResId) or just if(isset($dbResId)).
I wanted to save a new Leaflet (OpenStreetMap) map, but unfortunately it doesn’t work. I click on Save map, but nothing happens. I am using the latest version of the plugin (1.2.18) and WordPress (6.4.3). Is this a known problem or is there a workaround to save the map?

We tried to disable all plugins except the Ultimate Maps by Supsystic, and tried on multiple browsers (Chrome, Safari) but the map doesn’t work.

]]>We wanted to let you know that we are having the same problem as many other users of this plugin. When the plugin is freshly installed, maps cannot be created because they cannot be saved. This does not seem to be a problem for existing installations.
This problem seems to be happening after the last update 1 month ago.

I’m using the Ultimate Maps plugin along with the Lightspeed cache plugin. However, when I activate the Lightspeed cache, the map doesn’t appear. But when I deactivate it, the map shows up. I tried to exclude the JS URL from Lightspeed, but it didn’t work. Could you please tell me on how to fix this issue? I’ve deactivated the cache plugin for now

]]>For years now there has been an annoying bug when you first install your plugin. Just after install you go to ‘Add Map’ but the actual map doesnt load and any edits you make aren’t saved. You always have to refresh the page or click ‘Add Map’ again.

The only issue is the fact custom image on markers don’t scale properly. It’s either too small or huge.
Tried several img sizes fm 50x50px to 500x500px and can’t find one that works with that map, as you can see here

You take a new WordPress, install Avada as a theme.
Under “Plugins” you install the plugin “Ultimate Maps by Supsystic” and create a new map. After that you get a shortcode [ultimate_maps id=”1″].
Then you add a new site with the avada backend page-builder and add a container with one column and in that column you add a “text block”-module where you put in the shortcode [ultimate_maps id=”1″].
At this moment the map works as it should in the frontend.
If you now create a global header under “Avada” > “Layouts” where you add again a container with one column. Save the global header.
Now if you make any changes in the column settings the map doesn’t work anymore. Even if you reset the column settings. There is also a console error “caught TypeError: L.map is not a function”.
It seems to us that your OSM plugin is not compatible with the most sold WordPress Theme Avada (approx. 1 million installations) anymore.
Would you be able to look into this and share a fix? We and all Avada users would appreciated it tons!
Is there a way to temporarily deactivate a map marker that I might need again later? I see the option to edit or delete, but could use something like a draft or de-activate option so I wouldn’t have to re-enter the info at a later time.
Also, is there a way to clear un-used maps and markers from the database. When I export the data, it includes data from test maps that I have since deleted.

]]>In my locations popups, I have some html which embeds a standard audio-player in the popup along with the description, and plays a different wav file for each location. It works great on all browsers and devices. When a visitor opens a location tab they can read the description and press play to hear the associated audio file. However, when a Bing map is selected the browser also automatically downloads in bulk every wav file at the same time as the map. The markers are exactly the same in all cases, but it’s just the Bing maps that have this problem.
Another problem with the Bing maps, compared to the others, is that the ‘info window width’ and ‘info window height’ settings don’t seem to do anything when ‘Auto’ is selected

I recently switched over from Leaflet to Bing on your plugin. Now I’m facing an issue where the clickable area for the markers is just slightly above the marker itself. The visible markers are in their correct positions relative to the map underneath, though. The leaflet map does not have this problem. I have temporarily added both the bing and leaflet maps to the page to better illustrate the problem.

I am creating a map with historical monuments in our city, I want to create one map with several markers, each marker is one historical building, then I create pages with descriptions of individual historical monuments and I want to display the map there, where the description of the marker for the given historical building will be automatically displayed, so that the site visitor can clearly see on the map which map marker belongs to the given building description.
A separate page will be created for each building.Hello, I would like to request a small fix in the plugin – if I create a marker on my map with quotes in its title (like – Amazing shop “Rainbow”), the system will save it with a backslash to avoid SQL injections (Amazing shop \”Rainbow\”). I know this, I’m deleveloper also, so can understand, but you can quite easily fix it with PHP method “htmlspecialchars” – just wrap data from title, it will replace quotes, so it will be safe for DB and will not have issues on backend.
