I have multiple galleries on 1 page, but the lightbox combines all images from all galleries into the lightbox.
How can I have separate lightboxes with only the images from the gallery an image is clicked on?
]]>Hi there,
On desktop the lightbox is working very well, but on mobile it’s doing nothing?
The two images in the blog should open in a lightbox and be able to zoom in.
Thanks in advance,

]]>In >Settings>General> I have ‘Show Thumbnail Images” clicked. I am expecting the thumbnail images to show for galleries only because in >AddLightboxOptions>ImagesWithLightbox> I have checked:
I would then expect that for any single image (ie: not a gallery) on a page with a class of ‘ult-lbox’, there would be a lightbox only but without the thumbnail images. However what I get instead (on single images) is a lightbox with a thumbnail nav image bar including just a thumbnail of that single image in the lower left corner. Also, if there are two unrelated images in two different locations on the single page, the lightbox for each renders with a thumbnail nav bar containing thumbnails for the two unrelated images. Isn’t there a way to get a lightbox without a thumbnail nav bar for single image?
]]>I’m having a problem with captions. It is on an extended family site that family members want to keep private (eg: not crawled by search engines) so I can’t post the URL here but I could send it to you (if I knew how). I am able to get the captions to work in the lightbox on an empty site that has nothing but the Ultimate Lightbox plugin but on the live site the captions just don’t show.
When I inspect the lighbox using Firefox Inspector on the empty site the caption shows up in a div with class=”ewd-ulb-slide-description”.
but on the family site, that div isn’t even present for the image in the lightbox (however before clicking and bringing up the lightbox the caption in a “dd” element is present with the full correct caption)
On these sites the “All WordPress Galleries” checkbox is checked to use the lightbox on all wordpress galleries.
Please advise.
]]>Hello,
Thank you for this nice and easy plugin. I’m using Elementor on my website, but since I’ve moved from Sections Layout to Flexbox Container layout, the plugin, like every other Lightbox plugin does not work anymore. Can you guide me in a direction on where I need to make some changes please?

]]>Hi, I noticed that Ultimate Lightbox is no longer mentioned on your website. It seems to have been absorbed by your Ultimate Slider plugin. What does this mean for the further maintenance of Ultimate Lightbox, and pending feature requests?
(for example, the request to remove back-and-forth-arrows in the case there’s only one image on a page – that was discussed over five months ago).
Thanks!
Will this lightbox work with the Divi Theme Gallery Module? Without doubling, and loading both galleries? Thanks
]]>Hello,
I love this plugin, but I specifically need to be able to exclude certain galleries. This is because those galleries are “menus”, so to speak. They contain links to pages. So when you click on the images I need the user to be taken to those pages, not open the lightbox. How can I exclude these galleries? It’s only a handful so doing it manually is not an issue, but I’m not sure what I need to do.
Thanks in advance!

]]>Many thanks for the plugin!
However, my goal is to show a full size image in the lightbox, not the same size as on the page.
How can I achieve that?
Hi, fantastic plugin.
On my website, the problem is that photos are called directly from the folder with php link – we only have a link to the real size… full size on page… without thumbs… is it possible to make a correction because nothing appears in the lightbox and everything works…
thank you
]]>Hi, I stumbled upon your Ultimate Lightbox plugin yesterday, and I think it’s great. One thing I noticed though is that when there is only one image on a page, the lightbox still shows both arrows on the sides as if there were multiple images. This can be confusing to the visitor. I didn’t find any setting that could alter that behavior, so I guess this post would be a feature request.
I have applied a workaround by assigning a class to the page I know have only one image and by adding some extra css – but if would be easier (especially when galleries often change in number of images) when the plugin detects the number of images by itself.
Cheers!
When on mobile, Ultimate Lightbox seems to have some issues.
If by any chance I start scrolling the page, then the add-on stutters. At some point, the images are not showing up correctly.
Here’s a screen recording:

Maybe there’s a way to introduce a fade-in instead of the horizontal scrolling to avoid the glitching?
Thanks,

Good morning,
I am currently working on integrating the Ultimate Lightbox plugin into the Divi Slider module to enable image zooming.
At the moment, I have created a test page (https://studiokid-website.nl/project/test/) where I have set up the slider with images as backgrounds. I have assigned the slider a class named ‘project’ to allow the images to open in the lightbox. However, I am facing an issue. Whenever I click on the images, an error appears stating ‘img undefined.’
I have attempted to resolve the problem by using the ‘inspect’ function, but I haven’t been able to identify the root cause. Do you have any idea how I can resolve this issue?
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and effort.
Kind regards,
Maud Duijn
Hi,
my site is still under construction and therefore password protected. I didn’t know where and how to add the pw so I added it after the url. I hope it works out for you when copying the url (without password) and use the password after opening the site…
this plugin works fine, when having activated “images with lightbox > all images” but I want to use it only on selected images. It would have been my favorite solution to add a class to each image but this doesn’t work. Any suggestion why it doesn’t work when defining a class in the settings and adding it to any image?
I even tried to define “CSS selectors to add lightbox”.
It doesn’t work either but I’m not sure, whether I’m defining the correct selector. Could somebody help me finding out which CSS selector I would have to use or suggest, why it is not working?
I would like to open the small pictures from my price list in a lightbox and have tried (among others):
I would like to use a lightbox even on product pages for the first image. (Second item in menu with dropdown and then choose at best the third item.)
In this case I tried:
I would be great if anybody could help me. Thanks in advance.

Hi.
I’m just installed your plugin and configured it according to instruction, but it is not working.
On Basic plugin settings page – I select: ADD LIGHTBOX OPTIONS – Images with Lightbox – All Images and All WordPress Galleries.
After this on post page images are not clickable and in browser console I see an error from jquery:

jQuery working properly on my site. And I don’t know what cause this problem. So please help me to make your plugin and all lightbox functions working properly.
Thanks.
Wait for your quick reply.

Hi, can you add pan option with the zoom?
I think panning the zoomed in images would be a great feature.
Thanks.
Hi,
Not sure what’s going wrong here…all seems to be configured correctly/ following the instructions.
I’m using Blocksy theme + Gutenberg.
And using a regular image block to insert the images.
The script is loaded correctly.
When on the back-end, I see: ‘Lightbox?’ , but no options, or checkbox.

Any idea what’s going on here?
Thanks in advance.
]]>Hi!
I am using Divi Gallery module and have targeted the images with the selector. For some reason it does not open the lightbox, but if I click on something else that opens the lightbox, the images from the gallery are visible.
What could be the issue?

Hi,
I created a custom post type (with pods) that has multiple images. I created a pods template to show the images as thumbs and use ultimate lightbox to show the full image when clicked. On my localhost I got this working just fine, but now that I got it online, the image shows as broken in the lightbox. I double checked all settings I made for ultimate lightbox and they are the same as the settings on my localhost.
Any idea what may cause this problem?
thanks in advance,
Bert.
Hi,
Is there any workaround to download all images as a zip archive?
Thank you.
]]>I’m having trouble getting the captions to appear in the light box. I have the show overlay text toggle on and I’ve tried changing the colors but don’t see anything appear. Is there something additional that needs to be done to display captions?
]]>Hello,
I’ve tried this plugin and I’m having two problems: I can’t get the Captions to show (I have set the setting to use the captions).
The second problem is as follows: I am creating a wordpress gallery on the page; the gallery contains (eg) four images. When I click an image to bring up the lightbox, the lightbox will have eight or nine images. It is using the original four images from the gallery but it shows them twice.
I am using wordpress 4.9.6 on this particular site, however.

]]>Hi, The images shown in lightbox are of thumbnail size. The size of images were quite larger then shown. please solve this matter for me. Thanks.
]]>When using Beaver Builder, the editor is on the public side (somewhat of a visual editor) which mean the plugin JS and CSS files are loaded. When using a standard “Text Editor” module to write text with links, if you click on a link to edit it, the tooltip goes away. When you click a link in text, it has a small tooltip that shows the link value, a pencil icon, and a unlink icon but as you move your mouse off the link to one of the icons, the tooltip disappears.
I’ve traced it back to your plugin and specifically the jQuery plugin: iframeTracker-jquery. I see the plugin author has version 2.1.0 out (you package 1.1.0) and I dropped it in as a test and it resolves the problem. Unsure how difficult it would be to test the updated jQuery plugin within your WP plugin, but it appears to be helpful at quick glance.
Could you review and potentially update this plugin in your next release? For now, I have deregistered the enqueuing of this jQuery JS file in my functions.php to prevent it from loading when the Beaver Builder editor is active.

]]>Hi,
wonderfull plugin if it can works for every browsers as in chrome does.
I notice that is not working on safari and sometimes on Mozilla.
I realize that the class ewd-ulb-lightbox is not added every page reload to the same area. So, sometimes is working well and sometimes not. I have a complex system so I’m sure is caused by plugins conflict.
Any workaround to just let the plugin work on every browsers?
Thank you.
