]]>One of my sites is showing all the posts from the site in the template selection screen for UIPress. Editing any of those takes me into a draft template, and I cannot delete them. How are these pulled in and how do I resolve the issue? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling so I fear it is a database problem.

WP 6.5.5, uiPress lite 3.4.06
Hello! In the Site settings > Advanced settings I have “Dynamic loading” set as “no.” I have “Load frontend outside frame” as “yes.” The Bricks builder editor is a frontend editor with URLs that append the ?bricks=run
URL parameter. When I try to edit a page/template from the backend, it loads within the uiPress iframe instead of outside the frame, which breaks the editor. So site.com/my-page
would have a link to edit that looks like one of the following:
https://site.com/my-page/?bricks=run
https://site.com/?page_id=137&bricks=run
https://site.com/template/coming-soon/?bricks=run
I’ve tried adding different values (with and without /
, ?
, and &
in various configurations) to the “Disable uipress on pages” field, but that doesn’t seem to be making a difference in this case. The documentation examples on handling URL parameters is limited, so I’m not positive if I’m configuring it correctly, or maybe something isn’t working correctly. I am able to add other admin pages, and it seems to be respecting those by loading the standard WP admin, but when it comes to dealing with Bricks editor URLs, it’s not working. If I navigate to a Bricks editor from the backend, then do a full page reload, it loads correctly.
I’m using social integration plugins like Wp Social Ninja or Auto Social and I’m getting “….. refused to connect.” Error bellow Basically it’s not loading the auth screen as a separate tab on the social platform website. It’s trying to load it inside the uipress dashboard. How do I fix this?

]]>Just updated to the latest version and completely lost my installations UI – cant access any menus main dashboard gone all menu links cramped up and overlapping in the top left hand of what use to be the sidebar admin – can’t access anything – main content area just blank – had to disable the plugin via ftp and delete it and reinstall a backup of my site from my server. Every time you issue an upgrade something breaks. Love this plugin but its too ropey to use for customers – I’d never sleep again!

]]>Hi there,
when “quick-editing” a post, page or product it is very hard to distinguish the elements from background (on hover) since the background color, the input-fields and their borders share the same base-color 1. Do you know how to fix it?
Thank you.
]]>Is there any way of preventing a user who has access to the User Management platform from editing other users’ role capabilities? Perhaps hiding the “Roles” tab from some users would be interesting. Also, a way to prevent certain users from being able to edit other users, but only basic data, everything except other users’ roles?

I have a multisite and uipress just shows a blank white screen in every subsite. Every subsite have diferet domains.
Hi,
The sidebar menu is showing up twice on the dashboard page (when calling /wp-admin/index.php). The second one disappears when I clck on dashboard>home. It comes back when I refresh the page.
Besides, I don’t really undertsand the difference between admin page and user interface. The docs are not menttionning anything about it. It is not clear where the template are going to apply…
How can I customize the dashboard home page (where “texte” is displayed on the image)? When creating a template it adds a menu in the sidebar above “dashboard”. It doesn’t make sense to have 2 dashboard page, right?
Am i Missing something ?
Hello! Thanks for this great plugin.
The only issue I’m facing is that the page loading (backend) is slow when I deactivate “dynamic loading.”
I don’t want to use this feature. Is there any way to improve loading speed?
Thanks in advance!
]]>Hello, since the latest update, links to some plugins in the dashobard menu leads to white pages, disabling uipress lite solves the problem. Please have a look.
]]>Hi there,
I’m experiencing a conflict between the Yith Auction plugin and Uipress in WordPress, and I’m uncertain where the fix is needed.
In the WordPress backend, I can access a list of all auctions. Each list item represents an auction. Normally, clicking on an auction opens a popup that executes an Ajax call, displaying all the bids. However, with Uipress activated, this popup appears empty.
Could you advise on where to start troubleshooting this issue?
]]>WP 6.3.2; UiPress lite 3.3.094; Formidable Forms (& Pro) 6.7
Just ran into an issue where clicking “Use Template” on any template from the Formidable Forms template library is wiping the admin UI and returning the text of a data object instead of redirecting to the prepopulated form editor. The links from hovering the buttons look like: https://s3.amazonaws.com/fp.strategy11.com/form-templates/contact-us-form.xml?AWSAccessKeyId=<access-key>&Expires=<expiration>&Signature=<signed-id>
Deactivating the UiPress admin template allows this functionality to work as expected. This also doesn’t affect creating a new blank form—it’s only happening when trying to call the data from that Formidable S3 URL while UiPress is active.
Also, most importantly to narrowing down the source of the issue, the form is created from the template—the redirect is what’s broken. I’m still able to go back to the Formidable dashboard and see the newly created form in the forms list and open the editor from there. So this isn’t a Formidable problem. UiPress is treating the button like a link, perhaps interfering with the event listener being applied to it.
Let me know if you need more info.

]]>Hi, I am using the template “Modern”, and I have set different logo for normal mode and dark mode, however it’s not changing when switching to dark mode. I switch the template to “2023”, the issue is still persisted.

]]>Hi, first of all congratulations for the excellent plugin!
I want to report this “bug”, which I found, with multisite and ACF active.
In a subsite, within any page, where there is a “select” type acf field (relationships, taxonomies, user), which makes an ajax call, to receive the list of posts, terms, users, etc.. .
the problem is that the starting call starts from the current site, i.e. the subsite, but the response comes from the main site, so the selects are always empty.
Ex:
ACF Select field Post List -> ajax call start from “site1.mysite.com” -> response from “mysite.com” and not from “site1.mysite.com” (error) -> result = select empty!
Of course I tried disabling uipress and after that everything works.
I hope I have explained myself.
Greetings
Hi there,
if you don’t mind, I would like to report some bugs:
Thank you.
]]>Hi there,
I’m providing to the backend user some functionalities where admin menu items are added or removed based on certain actions. At the moment, I’m reloading the entire website after an action is triggered using JavaScript to reflect these changes in the admin menu.
I was wondering if UIPress provides a specific hook or a function that I could use to refresh just the admin menu without having to reload the entire page? Your input is highly appreciated.
Thank you.
]]>Hi there,
for translating uipress, I followed the instruction in your documentation.
"domain": "uipress-lite", "locale_data": { "uipress-lite": {...
"": { "domain": "uipress-lite", "plural_forms": "nplurals=2; plural=(n > 1);", "lang": "de_DE" },
Issue: My uipress is still in english. So, what am I missing? Which steps is necessary on top?
Thank you.
]]>Hi there,
I’m using the recent version of uipress and discovered two issues:
edit.php?post_type=page
), are accessed. However, these scripts are not being executed as expected since the pages are loaded dynamically without a full page reload. So, the function is not triggered again anymore. I want to keep dynamic loading enabled because it provides a much faster performance. Example of a function:function custom_function() { //
if (page=x) open popup}
add_action('admin_footer', 'custom_function');
Do you have any idea how to deal with it without disabling the dynamic loading?
Thank you.
]]>Hi, I am encountering an issue with the UI Press plugin’s setup wizard. The problem is that the form displayed in the wizard has a height that exceeds the height of my screen, making it impossible to access the action buttons on the form.
This issue is hindering my ability to properly configure the plugin and proceed with its setup. It seems to be a formatting or styling issue with the plugin itself.
I am using WordPress 6.3.2, and UI Press Lite 3.2.12. I have also attached a screenshot of the issue for reference.
Thanks,
Mifta
Hi, I am trying to move the admin menu collapse button somewhere else on my WordPress dashboard, maybe as a hamburger icon on the top bar but it seems I am not able to find any option to do so.
However, I tried to recreate the same element as the collapse menu button by using the inspect tool and gave the other element the same classes, expecting that maybe the JavaScript or jQuery linked to the collapse menu button would behave the same for the recreated element as well. However, it doesn’t seem to be working.
]]>Hi there,
another question: for our client, we are not only using uipress but also the PayPal and Stripe plugin from paymentplugins which both are very successful. Each plugin has a button in backend that redirects you to PayPal or Stripe to configure the connection.
Issue here: uipress loads the website in its own iframe which PayPal and Stripe don’t allow, so it leads to an error. In settings I enabled to load external/frontend links outside of uipress, but here there is no effect.
Do you know any solution or hook to avoid uipress loading external websites inside its iframe, especially for PayPal and Stripe by paymentplugins.
Thank you.
]]>Hello,
I am having issues with the standard WordPress toolbar. It is not adapting the styles of the templates, and in addition to that, it formats very poorly.

]]>Hi, I am trying to create a custom dashboard for a wordpress website using UiPress pro plugin. There is a feature in the plugin which allows the user to load website dynamically within the frame of the dashboard. I would like the users to not be able to access the frontend of the website as the users can already access the site within the frame of the dashboard. This is to avoid the duplicate user experience.
Also, I would like to know if it is possible to open any page of the website automatically within the frame of the dashboard. For example, if any user types in the slug, https://www.example.com/page-1. The slug should automatically change to https://www.example.com/page-1?uipid=73
