I installed the plugin and I get a message on the site –

XML Sitemaps
Your website does not contain an XML sitemap and that can weaken your SEO.

Also, when I check on Google Search Console for specific pages, he note that there is no SiteMap, even though I claimed the SiteMap on Google Search Console.

I am trying to create an image sitemap but after doing all those setting(instructed by you ) sitemaps showing 0 URLs and 0 images. even I deactivated the yoast plugin. but i wasn’t able to create. your help would be highly appreciated.

Since it doesn’t seem that Udinra wants to remove the convenient bug displaying the notice “Best Sitemap plugin with XML, Image, Video, HTML Sitemap support” that no one can remove, here is the simple walkthrough to get rid of the nagging notice.

Open the file
wp-content/plugins/undira-all-sitemap-images/lib/udinra_init_func.php

take out at the begining of the file that part

I’m pretty sure it was previously reported, but I can’t find any message specifically addressing the bug.

The notice “Best Sitemap plugin with XML, Image, Video, HTML Sitemap support. Know More | Hide Notice” is displayed in every admin page. First, this is very invasive. Second, you can’t hide the notice, clicking “hide notice” has no effect.

Please fix quickly this bug, previously reported and not fixed with latest release Although being definitely the most obvious bug afecting wordpress : nobody can miss it ??

unfortunatly the new version is buggy for me.

I try to generate the image cache, I get this message “some Images are left. Click on Create Cache button again”, after clicking over and over again.
In the sitemap I miss a lot of images.

Another error: “Best Sitemap plugin with XML, Image, Video, HTML Sitemap support. Know More | Hide Notice” > can’t hide this notice, it appears on all admin sites.

Any idea?

Update: After clicking more now I get “Gateway Timeout
The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.” Even when I save a new post.
So I have to delete this plugin!

Hi,

The plugin doesn’t save my settings for the XML sitemap part (I unchecked posts and pages, saved, and it didn’t uncheck).
Moreover, the sitemap doesn’t update itself, is it normal? My image sitemap dates from some months ago.

Hi,

I noticed a bug. When the image title/alt name includes an apostrophe (‘) the mark is not escaped. So the name is incomplete.

In French that mark is very common.

The current “Udinra All Image Sitemap” format is very slow when updating the site map.
My site is growing at a rate of 1000 articles per year.
Next year, 2 years later, 5 years later, the update of the site map will be slower and slower.
You can avoid this problem by formatting site map in years and months.

Only XML sitemaps are generated for products and pages (as selected in the plugin settings), but no images far and wide. This is an example message shown on top of the generated sitemap:
“This sitemap contains 331 URLs , 0 images and 0 videos.”
But there should be 1000+ images besides the 331 URLs (products).

Only “sitemap-index.xml” was created not XML file like “sitemap-image.xml”.

I deleted old version and installed version 4 form scratch.

When I use this plugin, can I only turn on the Image Sitemap and leave all the other sitemaps off? Yoast is handling all my other sitemaps. Thx, (My question refers to the free version.)

I was looking at your plugin in the WordPress repository & on your website and was wondering whether the free or Pro version supports Wistia videos. I didn’t see that the free version supported videos at all (maybe I missed it) and did not see if the Pro version supported Wistia. Can you clarify this for me?

Also, I have a website that has a plugin we need to replace (it’s no longer supported) that adds “alt” and “title” attributes to the images. Does your plugin do this, and will it handle that for videos too?

Uploaded it to run alongside Yoast and all the images disappeared!

Used to use this a couple of years ago, and it was superb.

Thanks for a great plugin. We’re trying to make it work with our site – https://www.christmasgifts.com/. When we had installed it few months ago, it was showing only 1 xml sitemap here – https://www.christmasgifts.com/sitemap-index-image.xml and that was https://www.christmasgifts.com/sitemap-image-1.xml.

But today when we were updating some of the titles of the images in our website, the changes were not getting reflected in the Image sitemap (https://www.christmasgifts.com/sitemap-image-1.xml). So we thought to regenerate the sitemap through the plugin settings.

Now in the plugin settings we’re unable to uncheck “Include post in Sitemap” and “Include page in Sitemap” options when trying to save the configuration. Even though we’re unchecking it, when we save the config, the checkboxes for these appear as checked again. This is one issue.

So after that when we clicked “Create Sitemap Manually” button, we found that the parent XML file i.e. https://www.christmasgifts.com/sitemap-index-image.xml contains multiple small image XML files now (which was only 1 earlier). Also the individual XML files e.g. https://www.christmasgifts.com/sitemap-image-1.xml contains URLs of the posts/pages which do not have any images and I think earlier that was not the case. Earlier it was displaying only URLs of posts/pages which have images. This is the second issue.

Lastly, can you advise if we update the title & Alt text of image, will it be automatically updated in the image sitemap?

I just installed it, I check “posts” and “pages”, but only sitemaps “images” are created.
If i click “save common configuration options”, my posts ID to exclude are erased.

I tried disabling the Yoast SEO sitemap, ( and clear the cache) same result.

For now, I leave Yoast sitemap enabled.
In case: the new versions of Yoast (from 7.2 ?) have removed the sitemap “images” (or attachment)

Google Webmaster tools, show the sitemap your plugin created. This is the error shows.

An invalid date was found. Please fix the date or formatting before resubmitting.

The dates I show are the following

Is the above time stamp correct? apparently, google doesn’t think so. Can you assist with this?

I like your sitemap plugin, it does pickup what is needed as far as images. But, any new posts or pages I create with new images, doesn’t show up. It doesn’t seem to automatically update.

Is this feature of sitemap automatically updating run by cron job? or how would it automatically update. By this I mean, without going to the settings and pressing saving sitemap.

Please advise.

Hi, latest update of plugin has issue if post has more than one images. It just creates image sitemap only for the image which is featured image and it doesn’t include other images in the post. please look into this issue. Thanks!

I’ve just installed your plugin on my wordpress, activated it, and when I click on Create Sitemap button, the page is reloaded, but nothing more.
Nothing under Status: … none kind of message or something…

Is there any kind of conflict I should be aware of (eg. Yoast SEO) ? Can you help me on this please ?

XML Sitemap

The MetaSlider plugin is causing conflicts with this extension. There is something wrong with the following line:

<loc>https://www.acmeconcreteinc.com/?post_type=ml-slider&p=1290</loc>

Is there anyway to exclude a certain post type or url from being added to the sitemap? I don’t really need these images in the sitemap since google already has them. Thanks!

When I build my sitemap I am getting an invalid URL after changing my website to HTTPS

I use Final Tiles Image Gallery. Will the Pro version detect those images? Or is is only compatible with NextGen?

All website used https, 301 redirect from http also, but Google webmaster showed an errors, because http blocked.
