Great Plugin. Works well. We’ve used for over 1 year – it broke once – man this guy was quick to fix – and followed up several times to make sure everything was running smooth.

The plugin download and install may be free, but all WP plugins have to be in order to comply with GPL.
You need a paid subscription to use it after 30 days, which the author pointedly fails to mention. I have no idea if the plugin works or not, as I uninstalled it immediately, but it gets 1 star for not being completely transparent.
And don’t give me any nonsense about “but the plugin is completely free”, you know exactly what you’re doing here.

I have a WooCommerce store on my website and was looking for a simple (and affordable) way to add tracking information to a customers email. After looking at the price tag on the official WooThemes one, and trying a different 3rd party plugin (that required registering to a service), I gave Shipping Tracking from snapCX a try.
In short: it does what it says! Once an order is placed, click on the order in the back end and you’ll see a new box in the top right to enter the shipping carrier and tracking number. Enter that info, select an order status of ‘Complete’ and save (as you normally would), and the tracking information will be added to the customers email. Easy peasy!

This plugin provides shipping tracking for USA major carriers. Though it lacks many international carriers, but it’s good enough for my store. No upselling or cross selling. I was able to use my same developer account with them, for this plugin.

I just tried this plugin, using ubercx.io free plan. It does, what it says. And response time is pretty good. I will an eye, how they further make it better.
