Plugin seems abandoned. It throws many notices and warnings in the latest versions of WP. Not recommended.

I have to agree with girlswithguns, who commented on the poor support for this plugin.
I managed to get the plugin working on an earlier version of WP, but with the release of WP 4, the Twitter count went away (when floating on the left of the page). Comments to the developer have brought no changes. We are now up to WP 4.4.1 and still no fix. I have since installed another social plugin that does not display the counts at all. Better to have no counts, than to have a blank space where the count should be.
There are some bugs reported when logging is enabled, but they don’t seem to cause any problems. It’s just shows that the shabby support is matched by shabby development.
It worked as advertised for a while. But it is as if the developer just put it out for download and then forgot about it. This could have been a good plugin, too. Bummer…

It is unbelievable that someone can publish a plugin with such low code quality and with so many bugs. From user’s perspective it may seem to work but just enable debugging in your wordpress and I guaranty you will get a full log of errors from this plugin. Some examples are:
global $posts;
if (someCondition) {
$image = $something;
}
return $image[0];
How can it return first index from something that might not have been initialized?
$children = get_children(...);
$image = wp_get_attachment_image_src( $children[0], 'thumbnail');
But since get_children is returning associative array of (postID => data) you can’t use $children[0] on the next line.

It’s very useful and customizable.

Was not working nicely for me: the like button was not enough big and was not fitting all the text (“j’aime” in french) neither the like count… I tried to modify pixel size in admin but it has no effect.
May-be in a next update, it will work good

This is a great plugin, easy and to the point. Thank you.

simple but good

Initially, this plugin looked good, but when I activated the Pinterest module, an error message started appearing. I reported this (very politely!) through the developer’s page, but my comment there was simply deleted without response. Cannot support a plugin with such a cavalier approach to its users.

im actually going to leave this plugin active for a week or 2 hoping to see an update that fixes the facebook like not showing up or giving the option to leave a comment before posting a like.
there is an open support thread with myself and another guy confirming the problem.

Works correctly. Customization within the settings page made it possible to integrate the layout with my theme.
Would have liked the option to have it in the sidebar instead of each post/page, I can live with that.
Most important of all, it validates old browsers like IE8. This social share plugins is replacing a lockerz addtoany that consistently causes error warnings on IE8.

This plugin was almost exactly what I needed. Set up – including styling – is simple.
The plugin just shows, in an unobstrusive fashion, the buttons needed to share content on the most popular social networks. Nothing to see with other screaming ways- like big and moving buttons on web page side – to accomplish this task.

puts style rules in a style attribute, so you can’t overrule it. not usable.
