Tweets are not loading on the home page but they load on all of the other pages.
https://suwaneemagazine.com
this widget just loads and loads and never gets to the point where i can see the twitter feed.
]]>This is most strange. I am running WordPress multisite and have all 7 sites configured with the same exact key, token and secrets. It consistently works for https://blog.doortodoororganics.com/colorado, chicago, michigan, tristate and kc. But for https://blog.doortodoororganics.com/ohio and https://blog.doortodoororganics.com/wisconsin, the widget shows “Loading tweets…” with a spinner.
Any suggestions?
THank you!
]]>Whenever I activate other Twitter plugins Twiget just sits on ‘Loading tweets…’ and doesn’t work.
Tweetpressr and Tweet Old Post are the plugins I’m trying to use. The developer of Tweet Old Post says “Probably they need to use their Oauth library I guess..”.
Any help would be most appreciated.
]]>My clients posts have a URL at the far end of the tweet. These are being cut short and breaking. This is the same with all plugins that use the API, i tested and got the same result.
Is there a way to exclude Re-Tweets?
See example:
https://grab.by/wxIS
I’m getting the error “Twitter outputted an error:
Bad Authentication data.”
I’ve copied and pasted several times. It’s the data I was given from Twitter Developer.
Any suggestions?
]]>hi,
I like very much the twiget plugin, and i’m using it in my personal website https://www.francescobagni.it/?page_id=61
The only problem is that, as you can see from the about page, the plugin isn’t loading the twitter username in the twiget follow@ button.
Is there a way that i can fix this?
Thank you very mucn, other than this it works super.

It was working on my localhost but has now also stopped. I attempted to reinstall with no success.

Thanks in advance.
]]>Hi guys,
I’m using twiget on my site and have it set to showing 2 tweets. This works well on the home page, but when you click an article and go to the page with the entire story, all of a sudden all my tweets are displayed. I don’t know what happens there and I can’t change it as there is no difference between both pages- all pages use the same widget layout and I can’t /don’t have different settings for those different pages. Anyone have any idea?
Thanks,
Julia

]]>Hello, hopefully a simple question for you. I am using the widget to display our Twitter feeds, I am attempting to only use the feed on the front page, when I apply the logic is_front_page() it breaks the widget and I get the Tweets Loading….
If I remove the logic loads fine but on all pages. Your input is greatly appreciated.
I installed Twiget Twitter Widget on my site, but it does not work, continue to charge the Tweer and does not display them
]]>The plugin uses this line to add the CSS:
wp_enqueue_style( 'twiget-widget-css', TWIGET_PLUGIN_URL . '/css/twiget.css', array(), '', false );
But the last argument is not the “in_footer” argument (like for scripts), it is resetting the media-atrribute to an empty string, but this should be the default (media=”all”). You should omit the last argument (“false”) to achieve this.
See:

Follow the instructions as described in the section of the plugin, create the application in twitter dev page, fill in the required data fields. Publish the widget with a user name of Twitter, only shows the button to follow on twitter, but shows no tweets, just shows the loading message twitts.
I would appreciate any help from you.
]]>Hi
I have potentially found an issue with the markup within the widgets.php file. The closing ‘twiget-feed’ div appears after the $after_wiget hook, rather than before on lines 80 and 81.
Thanks
]]>Hi,
Looks like this stopped working as of today – no longer working on our site https://www.bancmedia.com/stream/
I think Twitter may have updated their API very recently?
Great widget by the way, has worked well for our needs.
Thanks
]]>The timestamp behind each tweet (e.g. “about 21 hours ago”) is shown in English.
Shouldn’t it translate automatically in the language used on WordPress?
Or, how can I change this in a different language?
As poster frankjkeane mentions, my tweets aren’t loading. I’m presented with the loading animation with “Loading tweets” displayed, but they never do.
