Works on a site upgraded to 3.1 from 3.0 but not in new installations. It would seem there is not a lot of work to get it running on new installs

I’ve got a “class” error message on file custom-header.php on line 16. The website is defaced. Had to deactivate the plugin.

After the automatic upgrade from wordpress 3.05 to 3.1, the header doesn not load with the header rotator plugin active.

Updated from 3.0.5 to 3.1 on self-supported WordPress install. Stopped working – page would hang on render with error:

PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Custom_Image_Header in …(path)
/wp-admin/custom-header.php on line 16

I couldn’t find any clear instructions on how to install/use this plugin. The only documentation is buried in the creator’s blog comments. He says all you do is copy the size and name of existing images in the Twenty Ten header folder, then upload them over writing the existing images. Every time I tried it I got a broken link thumbnail. He also mentioned adding in functions to the theme’s index page, but I’d rather just get a different plugin.
