Don’t bother installing this if you want ALL images in your posts besides the featured image.
Also, if you read his replies to other reviews that are not favorable he takes on an attitude. Proper and thorough documentation IS lacking, he gives more documentation in his snarky replies. Uninstalled.

2. It’s a good example to learn from when I’m trying to write my plugin to synchronize wordpress content to my own site.

I was expecting the plugin use the featured image to display as main image at Tumblr. Only text based posts are being published.

The documentation says “If you are familiar with Twitter’s OAuth process you’ll find this really easy”.
If……
Unfortunately, if you aren’t familiar with the process, you’ll find it really hard.
There’s no guidance on what the fields mean or where to get the information you need to complete them. A few sentences simple explanations added to the screenshots (eg what web-addresses should you enter? what exactly is the consumer secret and how do you find it) are all it would take to transform this plugin into something really useful.
As it is, there are several hours of my one and only precious lifetime I won’t get back again. And it’s clearly a really useful plug-in.

When I scheduled the first post for a new blog, it got pushed to Tumbler immideately, sort of ruining the surprise.
Otherwise it seems to work as expected.

If your looking for a easy way to integrate post from WordPress to Tumblr you NEED this. Not only is this a great plugin but the support is top notch. I requested an option for the plugin and the author responded very quickly and rolled it into the latest version. Now THAT is customer support!

Beginning with the versions released in early March, Tumblr Crosspostr’s flaws are few and far between. It does what it says, and it does it rather well. Meitar has done a tremendous job responding to user feedback and making the plugin better. That’s why this plugin deserves a five star rating. If you want to use WordPress to publish but keep your Tumblr followers in the loop, this is the plugin for you.

It works fine so far, but as it is still in development there are still some things do improve, but I’m sure the developer will do that over time!
