Does this work with builders such as Avada…. I DL the plugin but could not see how to add any short code etc to a container??? I could not see the plugin appear any where except for in the list of plugins?

The plugin name/title (in readme.txt) should not contain “WordPress”, this case maybe makes your plugin closed.

Please take a look at the case of WP HTML Mail. Refer to its changelog about version 3.2.
