Is the option to Display click counts supposed to show the counts to the pubic, non-loggin users? If so, I guess it is working well. If not, you have a bug.

Either way the option should NOT show the click counts to non-loggin users.

Hi there!

Love the plugin after testing it for a few days. I’m noticing something curious though, in that external links often seem to be missing from the tracking. There are, for instance, Play Store and Apple Store buttons on the front page that don’t get tracked – test clicks don’t show up in the Track the Click overview, even after a few days.

The only commonality I can see for the links that don’t seem to get tracked is the target=”_blank” and rel=”noopener” attribute. Could it be that this is stopping them from being tracked? Or is there something else I’m not seeing?

I am currently evaluating track-the-click plugin and I want client side click analytics. I want to know if the affiliate tracking upgrade you are doing will include this feature so that a user can be able to track clicks to his affiliate link from the frontend

I’m having some issues with the plugin, it’s loads in the backend but doesn’t show nay results. I’m seeing a javascript error, pic attached. What is odd is I just installed this on the same host with essentially all the same plugins and it works just fine?

I tried sending an email directly with this question.
But I got no answer yet so I’ll try here.

There seems to be some issue’s with this plugin and Gravityforms.

It does some minor styling issue’s, which isn’t the biggest problem.
but also sets certain UI elements as disabled which renders these option fields useless.

Having to disable / reenable the plugin which is a hassle.
Is there a solution for this?

This is one of the features that I personally miss right after I started using this plugin.
I know there is a “Data retention time” setting, but if you can add a button to manually clear data for a selected period, that would be awesome.

FYI, this plugin is interfering with CSS tab display for Divi Elegant Themes on the backend under Theme Options.

Report looks great, but how can I export it for further manipulation?

Hi, does this plugin allow you to drill down to clicks made by individual users and provide time stamps on each individual click?

I maintain an internal-only intranet site accessed through institutional SSO. I installed this plugin about a month ago. It’s definitely collecting data, because I can see the 30-day quick stats summary on our dashboard. However, when I click the “More” link, it almost always takes me to an empty table with no data. I say “almost always” because today I unexpectly saw a full table of stats… for a few minutes. After clicking around for a bit, it’s back to being blank again. Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

We provide links via XML feeds to client websites.

Clicks on the links ex these client websites do not seem to be tracked - is there something in settings that we are missing?

ie - not logged in user.

Example:

This setting does not exist?

"As standard we try to exclude your own domain name from the click views. We do this by adding your Site Address - currently?https://thevault.exchange?- to the domain exclusion list. This is set under Settings -> General -> Site Address."

currently only administrators can see the reports. What can be done in order to make the reports accessible to editors, too?

When i click a link to xy.com/#test on a different page, it’s shown in the URL list, full URL including #test – but when I already am on xy.com and click the link, it’s not being tracked at all. Is there any way to change that behaviour? I have a mix of separate pages and links to sections inside the pages which I need to track equally. Thanks!

I have noticed that the plugin is counting also the clicks that are made by admin& editor users. Is there any way to prevent that?

Hi, Thanks a lot for this plugin it’s really good, but there are a lot of features missing from my perspective..

It would be great If I can exclude my own ip and from my collaborators as well to avoiding be tracked.. it would be great as well be able to exclude googlebot, applebot, bingbot, etc.. because they are permanently scanning my site and your plugin is detecting as normal users.. another thing that would be great to add to your plugin is the date, hour, minute, second of each CLICK.. so we can better interpret all the CLICKs coming..

It would also be great if we can see the IPs of each CLICK so we can relate the actions from each user to another user.. and as we are speaking of CLICKs and “mousse” actions.. adding the possibility to track the SCROLL DOWN and SCROLL UP would be helpful as well..

I know that your goal was to develope something simple to help other people and I appreciate.. but If at least we can exclude some information and be able to relate each user, would be a more powerful tool !

We have 3 sites being tested on the 3 sites. With the plugin active, the buttons on the sites show the public how many times they have been clicked. We want an internal record, not a public record visible to everyone. Are there any configurations that we didn’t do correctly?
