It WOULD be a great plugin, IF you could:
– change the button text, now you can’t so you cannot use it in many languages
– you cannot save your template, so if you want a custom look, you have to start the customization with every single question
– The admin has great features, but its a hard work to find out how it works
– you cannot have different font colors (heading, voting options)
At the start I loved this plugin, but when you jump into it to use it, it simply fails. Sorry about that, because I liked it, but I have to look for another. ??

My client bought the TotalPoll plugin since it came with features that fit most of our needs. I contacted the developers with specifications for features we would like added that didn’t come out-of-the-box, and support team member Mohamed came through with flying colors. He charged us a nominal fee for the extras, which took our poll to exactly where we wanted it within a tight time frame. We couldn’t be happier with his expedience and expertise. Highly recommend.

There plugin is so good and useful!!
And their support response quickly for my request when their plugin fail.
However, I think they luck their plugin trouble knowledge.
Because I had to make a validation environment for their trouble investigation. This took a bit of time for me. It may be necessary to analyze the trouble, but if they have the knowledge, we could have solved it with some troubleshooting first.

The backend is very powerful – and sometimes almost overwhelming – but in the long run it helps you with a lot of use cases. The logging is especially useful.
I recommend using ReCaptcha.
As a feature request I would like to have better spam prevention – like voting just from a GEO-IP area / country, checking for user agents, etc …
Support is prompt and very helpful.

There is no data for every anonymous voter.
Only the answer percentage for each question. Badly.
When selling the paid version, there should be answers very quickly.

Contrary to what some have commented in this review, I must praise the authors of Total Poll. I have tried many Poll plugins, from the most popular WP-Poll with 90,000+ downloads to many with 500+ downloads.
I my opinion Total Poll beats them all. Why?
1. Ease of use, a simple shortcode does it all
2. Multiple questions in one poll
3. Responsive formatting
4. All the necessary options to customize the look.
5. Free version provides more functionality than other plugins with free/premium options.
Although there are some minor hiccups, which I reported to in the support forum, these do not detract from the overall and I firmly stand by my 5 star ratings.

Dear totalpoll
Would it be possible to make it easier and faster to reach the edit page of a poll that is included with a short-code?
Best would be of course to have a Poll-edit button in TinyMCE (in fact also for easily including a poll in a page).
But if not, could you please at least include the poll # on the Polls page listing?
I would have filled up the website with polls if it weren’t so darn complicated to edit a poll, too many steps.

I was looking for a poll plugin and this was by far the best. The plugin is great, with many options to suite your needs. But what really blew my mind was the support from Mohamed.
I was having a compatibility issue with another plugin. The support found the error, and they even changed the code of the other plugin to fix the problem!
Sure they have so many great reviews. They deserve it.
