Hi,

I see that this plugin has been discontinued, however one of the themes I have chosen to utilize, uses it still. If there’s anyone who could assist me with the following, I would be most grateful;

1. Do you know of any script / plugin to mass-polutate older reviews of my clients from another site we had? This doesn’t need to be a scraper, an import tool that I can be used with TM reviews is enough, as I can download the previous reviews in a csv format f.e.

2. Videos aren’t showing after being publishided, only show and play in preview mode.

This is after trying multiple different formats of youtube embed links. (link/vs iframe, etc).

Videos do show and play in Mozzilla browser however, but not in Edge or Chrome. I have tried a few things to switch the settings of the browser, including reinstallation. If you would have some tips, it would be really helpful. 

3. Has your team developed anything similar, which could simply replace this version? I really like your plugin for its simplicity in some ways, but with current day market, as a user, I could benefit from a more modern outfit, hence my question. (yes, I know this is outdated by default, but figured I would still ask, as otherwise it’s a very nice plugin and already built into my theme)

I’d love it if the individual timeline entries could be excluded from search (with the page the timeline is on being shown in search being the ideal destination.)

Currently, this plugin has exclude_from_search set to false when registering both the custom post type as well as the custom taxonomy.

It’d be great if this were an option in the plugin’s settings. Even then, just having it as a filter could help simplify things when it comes to accommodating this (having a setting being more user-friendly & readily discoverable, of course.)

Hi there:

I’d like to add a preview of the post text (first 100 characters?) to its corresponding timeline entry, perhaps in italics or non-bolded or somesuch. That way I can offer a brief explanation of each item without forcing the reader to click through. Is this possible?

why am I not able to create timeline posts with past dates?

Apart from that, I would also like to create a timeline post for an event that includes more days, for example April 21-22, 2018. Is it possible?

I love this plug-in. Thank you for making it light with minimal (but nice looking) features. It just works.

When viewing the page on a desktop, the Vertical Chess Order has a nice look alternating between left and right. However, when viewed on mobile, the display simply squishes, which makes for very narrow and long columns.

As an alternative, is there a PHP snippet you can provide that would switch to the Vertical display when displayed on mobile?

Isn’t it possible to save dates after current date?
when I save it sets it back automatically to today’s date and don’t show any date in front-end…

hello, i’ve got a question about the use of the plugin.

Is it possible to change the permalink/anchor of the posts? Because when my client put in some text/pictures in that post, it appears also in the timeline, so this is getting bigger and longer. And he doesn’t want that. So is it possible to link to another post/page?

Thnaks for this great plugin. I’m using it for a couple of timelines in my website.

Also I use jetpack related posts option. Timeline posts should not show related posts.

Everything works ok, but I haven’t been able to get rid of the related post option in the the first post of timeline. Other timeline posts show without related posts, wucho is fine.

It just pushes the content smaller but the events don’t show under each other.

Hi, the settings page help text under Sort Order is the same as under Tag; not appropriate. Suggest removing it as Sort Order is self-explanatory.

Hi, I am currently using TM Timeline in vertical mode and can’t seem to find a way to reduce the left margin. The timeline is centered and the text is only on the right. I would prefer the timeline to be aligned at the far left and have all the elements take the entire space on the right.

PS. I tried changing the margin-left setting in the .css to 20% but it doesn’t seem to work.

The timepicker used in the plugin displays years between -10 and +10 from this year. I can type older years into text field but when I click Publish, the plugin does not save any value into its post meta post-event-date. I go to phpMyAdmin and insert the timestamp manually, then the years are displayed in the timeline. But you definitely need to look after this issue.
Maybe you can add a setting to admin page, so we can add a year range manually.

Plugin does what it sets out to do, but when I click on a link it get a Page Not found:

The plugin works great except that it does not keep any date before 1902. I can select/change the date, but it sets it back automatically to today’s date when I save. Also, those posts do not display any date (not even ‘2017’).

I just updated this awesome plugin (thank you very much for it by the way).
Unfortunately, the timeline is not displayed anymore in Elementor…

I had to downgrade TM Timeline to previous release. So it works fine with 1.0.5 but not with 1.1.0.

I am very surprised because :

I think you should add a condition to prevent users without add or edit post capabilities can access to TM-timeline menu.
