Just got this “Hi. I’ve shut down TK Event Weather”, that makes me very sad indeed.
Thank you Cliff for all the work done, I wish you all the best.
]]>Enqueueing missing assets. The latest pugin includes references to a CSS directory that does not exist. eg tk-event-weather/css/tk-event-weather.css?ver=1.6.3
causing 404 errors all over the place. can you fix?

]]>Hi. Could you please tell if it’s possible to display a simple today’s weather like here https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pulses_pro/
The format can be any, but the point is just 1 line of the actual weather, thanks!
Trying to get this to work. API entered correctly and I’ve successfully entered a few of your examples using my Lat/Long. But, all I want is a simple forecast. I don’t want to display for a fixed time period. So, what is the shortcode for just getting a forecast?
I’ve tried these but they don’t work
[tk_event_weather/forecast/ Lat=”43.877″,Long=”-71.649″]
[tk_event_weather lat=”43.877″ long=”-71.649″ forecast]
]]>Hi,
thanks for this really usable plugin. Is there a way to remove or translate the “today” label before the daily forecast? Thanks, L
Hi,
Would it be possible to tell me if the layout of the weather can be modified? For example, can I have the icon next too the day rather than under it? Can this be done by editing a template? I can do it with some CSS/jQuery, but would rather do it through the template.
Thanks
]]>Hi there,
I am trying to get London weather to show, but I am getting the following error:
The Google Maps Geocoding API resulted in an error: REQUEST_DENIED for the tk_event_weather
shortcode to work correctly. (Error message only displayed to users with the customize
capability.)
I am not using Google Geocoding as I wanted to use the Dark Sky API which I have registered a key with, so I am confused as to why this error is happening.
I am also inserting the code the following way:
<?php echo do_shortcode('[tk_event_weather location="London" start_time="now" end_time="+3 hours"]
'); ?>
Can anyone help as to what I am doing wrong?
Thanks
]]>I cannot seem to get this plugin to work. I tried locally to set it up and then put it on a server, and both times I get this error message:
The Google Maps Geocoding API resulted in an error: OVER_QUERY_LIMIT. for the tk_event_weather
shortcode to work correctly. (Error message only displayed to users with the customize
capability.)
I created a new Maps API and entered it into the plugin settings. I don’t see how I’m over a limit.
]]>This plugin looks great. I have a number of websites for specific events that reoccur weekly. Events that happen every Saturday or every Friday.
Is it possible to generate a shortcode that would display the weather for the upcoming Saturday and update automatically when Saturday is over?
]]>Hi, I am considering your plugin, but I am not sure what counts as a call to the API. Does it depend on how much traffic you have, or how many pages of the site this weather widget appears on?
If we have 1,000 visitors per day, does that mean we reach our limit? Or does it mean we can display the weather on 1,000 pages?
Thanks for your advice!
]]>@hijinxechelon (regarding this past closed thread), @insearchofasolution (regarding this past thread), @fishnyc22 (regarding this past thread) and others:
TK Event Weather version 1.5 (coming soon) will include multi-day forecasting functionality.
I’d appreciate a 5-star review and even enabling the Plugin Credit Link in the plugin settings.
Thanks!
]]>Hey there. Can you help me with understanding what is possible with Actions and Filters. I don’t see anything in the FAQ or documents.
Also I’m trying to test this with weather pulled in from my template (not using an event calendar) by using “do_shortcode()” but its not working. Any ideas?
Thanks!
]]>Hi, I figured that this plugin returns weather for a specific date (span). Is there an option to display forecast for next X days rather than specific dates? SOrry about posting about this here, but I can’t find any documentation about this plugin. Thanks.
]]>I am using Calendarizeit Plugin … It can be used to integrate calendars on custom post types… can I have paid integrated version on this plugin for that…
]]>Hi,
I just purchased the Pro version of the plugin and set it up but the date of the weather forecast in the single event is showing the day before not the date of the event.
You can view what I mean at https://www.jamesdoylephoto.com/activity/enviroplan-flinders-plum-fieldtrip-29-07-2017/
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Cheers
James
]]>I’ve received a newsletter today from the event calendar that says “Free Calendar Integrations (3rd Party) – Thanks to the TK Event Weather plugin developed by one of our own team members, you can display free hourly weather forecasts right on your event page.”.
However from what I see, the the TK Event Weather plugin for the event calendar is not free ($24). Or is it starting today?
If it’s not free for users of the event calendar, you should mention this to those who sent the newsletter, with this erroneous information.
Thanks!
PS: cool plugin by the way.
Hey, Would be great if this was compatible with event espresso. We manage a running site with event espresso and this would be ideal for that
Nice plugin
]]>I would like to show the next 3 hours from the current time. Is that possible?
]]>This is probably a feature request for a future update.
I’m part of a recreational sports league that always plays on Wednesday evenings (6 pm to 10 pm).
I’d like to display the weather for next Wednesday evening, whatever date that happens to be, without having to update the start and end times every week. Is there a way to write those times as a recurring period?
]]>Anyway you would consider a non event plugin to display darksky hourly weather and 7-10 day forecast weather?
]]>Hey, I am using the Divi theme, I’m having a hard time place the shortcode in the site it state this: “Dark Sky API request sent but resulted in a WordPress Error. Please troubleshoot for the tk_event_weather
shortcode to work correctly. (Error message only displayed to users with the edit_theme_options
capability.)” How should I put this short code. We are located 1350 Broadway New York. So how we we would place that shortcode?
Hi,
How can I change display time to 24h, not 12h (am and pm)?
is there any way to produce a forecast for a single hour?
[tk_event_weather lat_long=”36.7084888,-94.4672261″ start_time=”2016-10-29T18:00:00-05:00″ end_time=”2016-10-29T23:00:00-05:00″]
shortcode produces the desired results…except for an errant entry for 6:25pm between 6:00pm and 7:00pm.
