GleneiraU3A.org.au have tried to use TinyNav to correct drop down menu items on android tablets not working. I’m not a CSS programmer which may be the problem. I have inserted the Viewport code, but am not sure what code if any to insert into the custom id/class box. Have tried #site-navigation, but with no success.
Thanks
Daniel
Would it be possible to add a custom size option that we could choose the size ourselves?
For instance, on one of my sites, I’d like to choose the screen size of 1000px. This is because:
(1) The 1024px dropdown choice makes tinynav load on 1024×768 desktop monitors and I would like to set it to only work on sizes smaller than that.
(2) The 800px dropdown choice is too small as it means my menu is on two lines between 1000px and 800px.
Or can you give me some other way to set my own screen width?
Hi there. Thanks for a great plugin.
I’m using your plugin on a WooCommerce site which uses a product Category menu (not drop down), i.e.:
Categories:
– Cars
– Machines
– Tractors
On the mobile this is turned into a drop down. So far so good. However the drop down doesn’t say “Chose a page” or similar. It says “Cars”. If I then select “Cars” nothing happens. If I select “Machines” or something else it works fine.
Is there a way to add the text “Chose a page” on top of the categories?
Many thanks,
Chris
I’ve installed v1.2 on this site and set the selector to .art-menu. The tinynav is created and displayed, but the active page is not selected. In fact, no page is selected.
As a side note, it’d be great to make the “active” class a plugin option. My theme used a non-default one and I had to do some coding to adjust, instead of just entering an identifier in a field.
I have styled my TinyNav with css and all looks good but for one thing I can not change, I’m hoping you can help…
If you are on the homepage, then (1) “Home” appears in the window and (2) “Home” also appears in the dropdown list and is displayed in white text. This is fine for the default look as the hover background of the dropdown is dark. But I want to use a light background on the dropdown. I can do this with the current css but then the white text of the select=selected option item is difficult to read.
#1 Is there a way to add a css class to the selected item so it can be styled?
#2 Is there a way to change the color of the hover background?

Really nice plugin. Any plans to add a setting to exclude menu items beyond a certain level?

Hello
Is it possible to display a search form in TinyNav, which is already in the menu list?

Topic 1

Topic 2

search form

Thank you!
Hi.
This plugin is a great option and I have been happy with the ease of installation (other routes were tricky).
My problem is; however, I wish to custom style the plugin and remove the width: 100% to be precise. I am unable to enforce this in my css and can only seem to add onto what the plugin comes with installed. Has anyone had success doing this? Bee, maybe I am missing something here?
Thanks,
AJ
Hello,
I tried installing your plugin and I receive following (fatal) error:
Parse error: parse error in /Library/Server/Web/Data/Sites/wiki/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/tinynav/tinynav.php on line 353
Any idea what might be the problem here?
Thanks in advance,
I really like this theme. Everything works perfectly until I consolidate CSS & JS (using the js-css-script-optimizer/ plugin).
When I activate the plugin, the TinNav no longer appears when I resize screen for mobile size.
I have copied the last part of the responsive styles.css (after media queries line 438) into my child theme style sheet.
Is there a separate css or js that I need to manually add to the consolidated css / js that deals with the tinynav?
