Anyone know of a replacement for this plugin? I miss this great little plugin that I’ve been without since WP 3.2
]]>just like the title says – can’t update signatures via tiny mce 6 in wp 3.2.1 because the profile button is frozen. doesn’t work deactivating as (1) you can’t update this way and (2) it just reverts to the old sig on re-activating…
love this little plugin but it’s broke. happy to contribute any additional info on request or email questions to: [email protected]
]]>The function ‘Override signature on specific posts/pages via the edit page’ doesn’t work.
When I select to display signatures below all blogposts, it shows the signature below every blogpost, but when I select ‘no’ in the editing modus of the blogpost it still displays the signature (also after clearing my W3TC cache).
Anyone know a solution?
]]>When the plugin’s installed, the Update Profile button doesn’t work. So nothing gets saved. I’ve tested in both Firefox and Chrome running Windows XP.
Once the plugin’s removed, normal function (the ability to update the page) returns.
]]>Plugin conflicts in WP 3.2 so that Super-Admin cannot save changes to user profile while plugin activated. Clears up when plugin is deactivated and super-admin exits then re-enters user profile. Plugin otherwise appears functional. Even subscribers can save changes to their own profiles but not Super-admins. Just that oddity detected.
]]>This plugin worked fine until WordPress 3.2 installed. Now it won’t let the profile page update. I have tried removing and reinstalling TinyMCE Signature to no avail. Profile page works fine without the plugin installed.
]]>is there a code which I can add so that contributors can get a signature on their posts too?
]]>Your plug-in works as described, so I scored it 5-stars and cast a “works” vote.
I’m sure your plug-in would get more use and become more viable with some small modifications.
I went through about 5 or 6 other plugins before I found this one. None of the others either worked at all or had the ability to have a unique signature for each person.
This one does both and dumps its configuration options into the user profile where it makes sense to have them so each user can customize their own signature.
This definitely should have been included with wordpress, but this plugin adds the feature exactly like it should be.
]]>This plugin appears to be the only plugin that works like I want it to – from the user profile and automatically (if desired) with formatting options. It also seems to be the only up to date signature plugin. But it doesn’t show up in the WP Codex under search terms like “signature” or “post signature.” So its a hidden jewel
