HTTP ERROR 500
This is what I got when viewing the timeline page. What’s the fix?
]]>Hi,
We are exploring this plug-in TimeLine JS on a testing site. It is a great Plugin indeed.
After we create a page with TimeLine JS plugin, some users are able to view the timeline content, however, some PCs have problem to display the timeline content of the same page properly. I can’t attach images here, should you need them for debugging, I will send by email.
We are using Chrome or Internet Explorer 11 on our PCs. Even Chrome has the same problem. Please advise what setting we need to do or what library we need to install to make the TimeLine JS plugin work correctly.
Thank you and best regards,
SH WU

I really do not understood this error. Could someone helps me?
]]>As the title suggests: I have some test events and have added them to a timeline. I can’t see the events nor the timeline. The only thing I get is page can’t be found. My only suspicion is that, even though the timeline plugin needs the advanced custom fields plugin to work properly, timelinejs doesn’t seem to register any new fields. Might not have anything to do with it at all, I don’t know.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
]]>Is it possible to set a timeline to start at the end?
Is it possible to set the initial zoom level of the timeline?
There are so many errors while executing plugin.
]]>Hello.
Is it possible to disable the timelines meta boxes from appearing on posts? I’d like to be able to only use Timeline Events, and these meta boxes really clutter the authoring experience on my posts. It would be perfect to have a simple settings page for the plugin that allowed you to enable/disable for all post types.
Thanks!
]]>Great plugin! At the content of a timeline event, there is a big space gap above and below it, which pushes down the timeline itself. Would it be possible to reduce that?
Here is a screen shot.

Hi, I have a need to create posts (not timeline events) using the custom start date field. That way, our posts can work properly with our site’s theme in the ways that we want while also simultaneously showing up on the timeline.
The problem I’m having here is that when I create a post and give it a custom date, the resulting timeline only recognizes the post date and not the custom date. When I create an actual Timeline Event, the custom date is picked up properly.
I understand that the idea behind putting posts on a timeline is probably to show a graphical visualization of “Recent Posts,” but if the custom fields are present for posts, they should all be utilized, no?
Also, I should note that we are using historical dates (before 1915); those are working fine for timeline events if I enter the dates manually.
Can you advise as to 1) whether there may be a simple solution that I’m just missing or 2) where to begin looking for code modifications?
]]>Hello, I want to create a historic timeline about the conflict between science and religion. How can I add an event taking place before 1915. When I manually put in a date like 1/1/1875 the event will be placed at 1970. What can I do?
Thanks for your answer.

Hello,
great plugin, but with a small disadvantage: while the draft version is working properly, I get an error message when i have published the timeline (or a timeline-event): The page cannot be found. do you have an idea, what is going wrong?
Thanks in advance for answering

I have a problem with displaying dates as well. I add 10 may 1940 in the calender, but it displays in the frontend as 5 october 1940 (so in calenderview I see the correct date, but it seems to switch month and day when displaying it). Could you please take a look at this?
Kind regards!
]]>Great plugin,
Can I put the timeline on top of the slider instead of below it?
Can I set the default zoom setting?
Can it go to the first slider by default instead of the timeline description first?
Thanks
]]>trying to fix the amount of space the timeline puts above itself. would like it to sit at the top of the page. see below

is there a fix for this?
]]>Trying to set up a historical timeline as well. I’ve found a few problems I need your help on.
1. When adding blog posts as timeline events I get the error Missing start_date [_1571_ad_] I am not seeing a place to add a start date/year outside of modern times.
2. There is no way to override the JS date formats and calendar functionality for older dates than the calendar function can go.
3. Would you consider allowing a start_date for the timeline as an added attribute to the short code?
]]>Would you consider adding functionality for BC dates? We are trying to build historical timelines and this plugin would otherwise be very helpful.
]]>Hi
I’m on my first steps with the plug-in, it works as far as I can see. There’s only the backgroundimages that I added won’t be displayed on my site.
Any ideas?
Cheers
TOm
I like the plugin and prefer it over others because of the opportunity to create my timeline event at the same time I add a post. I noticed though that the media only displays if you add an event thru the timeline event custom post, but not display with events added from the post custom field.
I also think it will be a great idea to automatically use the featured image in a post as the media image if no media image is selected.
Please look at fixing the media image not sowing from posts…
]]>The “Display Date” field does not seem to be doing anything in the way my events look. What is that field intended to change? I thought I could enter “1831” and the “January 1, 1831” on the event would change to the year only. How is this field supposed to be used?
]]>My timeline comes up with a blank, white screen as the first “slide.” Is it possible to upload an image or to write text for that first screen? Also, the timeline navigation is off-screen on the several monitors that I have used, and you need to scroll down to even see that there is a timeline there. Is it possible to tighten up the formatting so that the timeline is more visible? Or make the information able to scroll, but have the timeline portion locked at the bottom of the screen like a footer? How would I adjust that? Thanks!
]]>I found some lines in the code but i am not yet understanding why i can’t see an enddate checkbox.

]]>Hello and tank you for the great and easy to use timeline plugin.
like mentioned it in the topic, after adding images for Media and thumbnail, none of them is displayed.
Only the method over Media External Content is working.
An other question of mine: How can i add timeline configuration options like shown on https://timeline.knightlab.com/docs/options.html
For example i want to use other language, how do i set it up??
Best regards
