When i use the WP_Ticker with the Keyword category, nothing is show. What have i make be wrong?

I use shortcode below in my theme.
It crash the whole page and show wp-die-message.

[wp_ticker post_type="post" ticker_title="Latest News" background_color="#000000" effect="slide-up" link_target="_blank"]

Do you have any idea what happened?

This is the code i use:
[wp_ticker ticker_title=”Articles” color=”#ff8605″ background_color=”#000″ autoplay=”true” post_type=”post” post_cat=”category” category=”3″ link_target=”blank” limit=”3″]

It displays blank..

But if i put code:
[wp_ticker ticker_title=”Articles” color=”#ff8605″ background_color=”#000″ autoplay=”true” post_type=”post” link_target=”blank” limit=”3″]

Then it displays the posts, but from all categories..

Is there any way to prevent the text of all items briefly appearing simultaneously on top of each other, which happens sometimes when switching to a browser tab where the page with the ticker is already open? Looks like this: https://home.xnet.com/~nsandlin/ahec/ticker-garble.png

I want to make a tickers with all my posts. What shortcode does this require?

Hi there, I do realize that you can show the latest posts from a certain category. However is there a way to just show the latest posts from the entire website? I would like my news ticker to basically just show the latest posts across the entire website.

I am using your amazing ticker to display custom posts, but they show up blank on my screen. I’ve typed everything manually, but that hasn’t fixed it. I’ve tried many variations of these codes:

[wp_ticker post_type=”wptu-ticker” post_cat=”category” category=”2033″]

I trying this code [wp_ticker category="73" effect="slide-v"]
And not seeing any content or I seeing the shortcode like the plugin is not active
I have category with ID 73 and it has posts.

Hi, does this plugin allow for the links to open a new tab/webpage? So far all the smart keys of target=”_blank” aren’t working.

The issue is that it shows all category’s not just “1”

How do I get it to show just the category that I want? I would like to have category “In Stock”, “News”, ect… and only show them in different places on the home page.

I am trying to set this plugin up to only pull in post from the ‘latest news’ category.

I have tried the following and none of them seem to work.

[wp_ticker post_cat=”latest news” background_color=”#b5b5b5″]

[wp_ticker category=”5″ background_color=”#b5b5b5″]

All either one does is just continue to say Latest News. What I am missing here?

I have one demand though : I do not always need a link, but if I leave the URL input empty, there is still a link active leading to website homepage.
is there anything I could do so this will not happen ?
